He had actually spent significant time rewriting these for us well before the dispute ever started, and his "thoughtful clarity" in those documents became one of our greatest assets when things got difficult. I would have gladly given zero stars but unfortunately that is not an option. Mr. Jeff Donoho, of this firm, was hired by my two business partners without my knowledge to be our corporate attorney. Even though I was the only partner engaged in producing revenue for the business, Mr. Donoho never once tried to reach out to me for a discussion about the business or to let me know that he was on retainer. As I was going through a contentious buyout with my 2 business partners, Mr. Donoho chose to side with them and treated me in a manner that was aggressive, disrespectful and exceedingly unprofessional even though I was the only one in the company paying his invoices. He even went so far as to meet with my staff, without my knowledge, and threaten them to stay with my ex-partners or "be in big trouble as your non-competes will be fully enforceable." This was nothing short of bullying and intimidation. As a physician, we have all sorts of rules of ethics and standard of care in place to make sure patients are treated appropriately and professionally. If the legal profession has any similar guidelines, I'm afraid Mr. Donoho has fallen significantly short of that. My husband and I are very highly networked in the Kansas City area and will NEVER refer anyone we know to this firm. I would advise you to do the same.

Lists that they do criminal cases on Google business profile, was told that they only handles business matters when I called them.

According to their client, this firm advised him not to pay our company AT ALL but instead, pay our competitor in full. The individual still owes us over $354,000 and this has harmed our company. KHP has made no attempt to advise him to pay us. That was after an attorney at this firm told a federal judge we would be paid in full by July 15th of last year (2023). It appears that this firm needs to improve its workplace culture and focus on improving its ethics.
