To make it short for everyone, my case was refused and I was referred to a judge then I withdrew my asylum application and left the country. I hired this attorney to file my asylum case in 2015 and my case was refused, all this man cared about is to get money (I also paid for taking him with me to the interview which I thought it would help me but I regret it immediately) he actually was the reason why my case wasn’t accepted, he asked me questions in the interview even though the officer didn’t ask (he would push the conversation towards refusal points - for example he asked me how did I get my VISA - which I got from the US embassy in my country.. but you see how he questions the validity of my Visa in front of the officer) , he even asked me once in his office if my passport was real. Anyway, if you decide to appoint him and then wanted to ask him questions don’t even bother to call or ask him because he will never answer, he will pretend he is busy and gives you attitude, this man advised me to submit documents that were absolutely unnecessary( for example, the documents that I used to obtain the USA Visa from the USA embassy in my country) .. furthermore, he offered no help or advice by any means during the whole process of preparation. However, after the interview, his job is technically done, so the mails he got after his job done, regarding my case, he didn’t tell me anything about it, for instance I was getting mails for court hearings but he didn’t even tell me !!! And I didn’t know about it and I left the country already, I only knew by accident when I called the immigration office to withdraw my case after I left the country and they told me over the phone that I had to attend a hearing, I was lucky to do the hearing online through a secure video stream because it was Covid and they only implemented this online interview thing during covid. To conclude everything, If you care about your and your family’s future don’t hire this attorney, he will make sure that your case get rejected so that you go back to your country. Please find someone else that can help you and your family
