Kevin Willhelm is Nothing but a PLEA ATTORNEY... After a year and a half, he did NOTHING to PREPARE for my case. He filed NOT 1 MOTION. HE DID NOT DEFEND ME!! He NEVER returned ANY OF MY CALLS. He NEVER responded to any of EMAILS.. and when we did get an answer from his office it was never him only his receptionist/paralegal who was ALWAYS RUDE AS HELL!! They only update she would give is that he is working on the case... Apparently not... How do you work a case without filing no motions, talked to no witnesses, got no investigation into what actually happened.. The first offer was 8 years TDCJ, Days before court they contacted me saying that had a GOOD DEAL, 10 YEARS... NOW HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT A BETTER DAM OFFER???!!!! That told us he NEVER looked at the case file in front of him..

Mr. Willhelm has been a great attorney. Very knowledgeable and gets solutions fast and efficiently. The one that has been in constant contact and has been there to answer any question or help with anything is Chasity Ward. She has made a difficult experience much easier to deal with and go through. I have NEVER known an Attorney like Kevin— and there’s four attorneys in my family circle— after my ex walked out on our family and left me to deal with every single one of our bills (the collectors said they couldn’t find him so they were going after me), I had no choice but to file bankruptcy— Kevin was recommended to me by a coworker. He (and his PL Amy) were WONDERFUL. I had to go in front of the court and it was absolutely humiliating and I had to answer as to why, when my ex had made so much money, I was sitting in front of the court asking for a bankruptcy— all the while still trying to wrap my head around why someone I’d been with for over 16 years could just leave me and my girls to fight through the pieces he left behind. When the trustee laid out that I had to pay them every month, along with every/any tax return refund for the next five years… and after losing EVERYTHING my girls and I had (I lost the house we loved, where my daughter was baptized in the pool) and I had to trade in my truck for a used car that would only be $150/mth because although I only had 6 months to finish paying off my truck, I couldn’t swing the payment for a meet 6 months), I still had no idea as to how I’d put the pieces back together, Kevin said to me, “I promise you, you WILL get through this”… As time went on, when things were at their worst, I remembered those words… when I wasn’t even able to get my youngest anything but an $89 cent bottle of orange soda for her 16th birthday (she said that’s all she wanted so she could share it with her best friends at school). I’d have to work so much that there were mornings where I could hardly walk just to get her off to school because my feet hurt so bad… and I’d remember those words. So many times I’d have to just try and keep things moving ahead for my kids… and I’d remember those words. I even had to write a letter to the VA asking if they’d reinstate my benefit to help buy a house because one of the things I had to include in the bankruptcy was a house my ex and I had bought on my VA, which is discovered he had t paid the mortgage, in 15 months… Now, here we are almost FOURTEEN YEARS after he dumped our family, and I am OVER the effects of the bankruptcy— ya know MEN who divorce and/or have to file bankruptcy, people tell them,”Oh, I’m sorry you’re having to go through this!”, but as a WOMAN, going through all of this crap that wasn’t even our fault, all I got was,” Well, you’re divorced and you’re a bad credit risk because you have all of these regular bills on just your salary and you’re in a bankruptcy”… and every time, I’d remember the words,”You WILL get through this”. You may think that 14 years is a long time— how come ya couldn’t get ahead in the 5 years you had to pay the court? I believed the same thing— that it’s only take 5 years and then everything would be done and I’d easily be able to start fresh without any hardships—- it ruins you for SO long, especially if you’re a single mom with two kids… but I can’t finally say, I DID get through it… Kevin is a godly man and has a wonderful family… and I’m here to tell you that had it not been for his support, I know I probably wouldn’t have made it through it all. It’s still one of the most humiliating experience, sitting in front of that court trustee as he read me the rioting act that day for something I didn’t cause… and I’m grateful for everything he’s done for me and my kids…

1st let me say Mr Wilhelm is Top Notch!!!!! His lady in the office is RUDE AS HELL!!!!!! I paid over $10,000 and this lady has the nerve to hang up on me. YOU SHOULD BE FIRED ON THE SPOT!!!!! Terrible customer service. Mr Wilhelm pays you but where do you think he gets the money from? That's right, ME!!!! You work for me so get this stuff right. Start treating your clients with respect, no matter what they did, they have paid you. If you don't like the people that pay your salary CHANGE OCCUPATIONS!!!!!

Kevin Wilhelm is a terrible attorney. He represented me in a criminal case and he tried to get me to plead to a first-degree felony when I had already signed for a second-degree felony. He literally had the paper in his hand and was telling me that I had signed for a first-degree felony when he set it down on the table, and I looked at it clearly read that I signed a second-degree felony. This man was trying to get me to sign for 10 years in prison saying he was the lawyer. He Acted surprised when I showed him what I saw and I asked him to go out and try to get me less time. He did me less time, I asked him to make sure that there was no court or no attorney fee since he did nothing to represent me. Terrible

Kevin Willhelm is the best attorney in my eyes. He really fights for his clients. He got us out of a mess that we are so thankful.

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY--Kevin Wilhelm will NOT represent you professionally. He FAILED to follow up on a time sensitive court appearance docs, that he and his paralegal, sent regular mail, not certified and no signature required, to my senior citizen parents (in their mid 80's)and who were not able to respond in time. They had already paid Wilhelm all his money for their bankruptcy case and he and his office failed to even bother to check on my parents lack of repsones. My Dad is a Vietnam veteran with 20 yrs service in the Marine Corp and this is how he was treated. Wilhelm and his paralegal are disrespectful and non responsive. His paralegal/office assistant is rude and does NOT return calls among other things. I also used Wilhelm for my bankruptcy and incompetance was the game plan then too. Thought I would give him another chance, bad move on my part. I will be following up with the Bar Assoc and the BBB

Not a friendly staff don't care or listen. If you rent something from them. If you need something fixed good luck. No matter what it is. He is definitely a slum landlord.

Called the firm that only has 2 employees to get answering machine AGAIN. Last time I received a call from his paralegal who was completely unprofessional and stated she was a "secret somebody" very combative and unhelpful. He's been appointed to my husband's case. After office staff refused to offer any help or information pertaining to the firm I received a call from Kevin Willhelm who was only responsive once I reminded him of my husband's constitutional right of representation and how relevant the matter of Money to Service seemed to be the only concern of his firm. I find it a insulting to the fundamentals of our constitution that he presented himself as a Private (for pay ) firm in regards to my husband's Court appointed case. He has in my observation defrauded the court system simply for the lack of monetary gain. He made it seem he understood the importance only to contact my husband about needing a decision to accept a plea agreement in a 1 day deadline without any integrity to have devoted any insight on any particular topic (defense, concern, tactics, or process) other then if he didn't accept it was "an uphill battle" God bless this fraud he holds his interest on his profits not on his morals.

Responded to maintenance issues quickly. His maintenance man, Richard, is top notch.

Kevin has done our wills, helped me form an LLC and most recently helped me with deed restrictions on our property. He has always been professional, knowledgeable and quick to help. We appreciate his professionalism and I would recommend him if you are in need of an attorney. Amy was helpful and courteous!
