Good morning folks King Simmons is the greatest, most caring attorneys that I have ever encountered. Especially my team Lindsey Simmons and Robin Kaetzel my journey in my situation was long stressful and sometimes looked hopeless. But when several other attorneys gave up on my situation they stuck right in the fight with me every step of the way. I thank God for both of them it was both a blessing and a privilege to have met them and to been able to share this chapter in my life. I hate that I didn't get the opportunity to meet in person. But prayerfully one day. So anyone that happens to see this review and need a outstanding Law firm please by all means give King Simmons your first consideration. Have a Blessed Day
No run around. Very courteous and professional. Took care of my family like I prayed they would. Highly recommended by myself and my loved ones.
Lindsey Simmons Esq. worked diligently to get a fair settlement in my personal injury case.

Ms. Simmons represented an employee of ours on a fraudulent Worker's Comp claim. The employee was found on the floor at his house in the middle of the night, drunk and high, with a ruptured spleen. He was taken to the hospital where he told the Dr that he didn't know what happened. The employee had previously been very sick, throwing up a lot at work, and was an alcoholic and chronic drug user (all things that can cause an enlarged or ruptured spleen). He had complications with recovery and additional surgeries were required. He was seen at multiple hospitals with no health insurance. We remained in contact with him for about 6 mos, checking on him weekly. He begged us for financial help during that time, telling us that he was trying to get back to work as soon as possible. We try to help those around us in need, and continued to give him hundreds of dollars a week out of our personal pockets to buy groceries, and we paid him unearned vacation time through the business (thousands in total). As his medical bills started to pile up and he couldn't get back to work, he concocted a story about a workplace injury, which was never reported to us. The first we heard about any claim of a supposed workplace injury was when Ms. Simmons filed a lawsuit against us. When we first met this employee years ago, he had a criminal history and we bailed him out of jail on multiple occasions. His good friend, who has been our best employee for over 15 years, asked us to please give him a chance at a job, as we were all trying to get him on the right path. After we caught him lying about his hours worked, we fired him. He filed a fraudulent unemployment claim, lying about why he was out of work. The claim was denied after an investigation. A couple of years later, he came back begging us again for a job. Against our better judgement, we forgave him and offered him a second chance at a job. Here we are now. After his medical bills were piling up and he couldn't get back to work and hospitals started to refuse to see him, he concocted a story about getting hit in the abdomen at work, even though he worked the whole day of the supposed incident normally (and the next day) and didn't report anything to his boss. It's my understanding that if you do have an injury to your spleen, it is an emergency situation that requires an immediate response. He wouldn't have been able to finish working the day normally and not have a problem until a day or 2 later. We advised Ms. Simmons and one of her colleagues about the suspicious facts surrounding this case, but really all that she was concerned about was getting herself a paycheck. We have had a couple of legitimate workplace injuries over the years and we have always helped our employees through those situations, working closely with our Worker's Comp carrier through the proper processes, the first of which is to report the incident to us at the time it happens. Due to Ms. Simmons bullying behavior and the fact that our WC company did not want to have to pay an attorney to defend this case, they agreed to settle for $50,000. Of course, Ms. Simmons got a chunk of that. And now our monthly WC premiums are higher. But guess who didn't get paid anything? That's right- the hospital and the Dr who saved her client's life in the middle of the night and continued to see him for month's afterwards. Her client has already squandered all the money he was given and has started contacting us again, begging us to help him out more. We tried to do some good deeds and get him straightened out, but Ms. Simmons made sure that our good deeds did not go unpunished. My family has had 3 generations of lawyers and judges in Baldwin County, and I am so proud of their reputation. Unfortunately, Ms. Simmons gives the profession a bad name. We plan to file an ethics complaint with the Alabama Bar Association due to her complicit behavior in assisting a person with a history of filing fraudulent claims commit insurance fraud, which is a crime.
Ms. Achimon, I wanted to take a moment to reply to your review. First, let me say that I am sorry that you are so incredibly upset in regards to this workers' compensation claim. I don't think it's healthy for anyone to carry this much anger, and I hope you will be able to move past this, given that the settlement you refer to in your review (in which I represented your former employee against the company that you and your husband own) occurred over four months ago. I am also surprised at the amount of allegations you made in a very public forum about a former employee. I would hate for my client to see that you have essentially given his entire "history," at least the one you've developed to serve your narrative, for all to see. You certainly make a lot of allegations about his behavior and the type of person he is. Yet your business employed him, over two separate periods of time, for more than 11 years. 11 YEARS! And here you are discussing publicly what a terrible human he is. I'll leave that for your own reflection and consideration. I am proud of the work that I do; I've practiced law for right at 20 years, and I have specialized in workers' compensation for every one of those years. I won't name here all of the organizations I've served as President of, etc., in my legal career, but suffice to say, I am proud of my reputation and I'm proud of my practice. I very much look forward to responding to your "ethics complaint" and any other actions you may take for what you call my "complicit behavior" in assisting someone commit insurance fraud. May I give you a tip, though, from one lawyer to you, someone that apparently comes from a family with 3 generations of lawyers - alleging someone committed a crime in a public forum may not be the best idea. Like I said to begin with, I hope you'll take some time to reflect on why you've had such bitterness over this issue and been so angry with an employee YOU chose to keep on your payroll for over a decade. As long as there are business owners like you, that treat their employees in such a manner, I'll continue to have a job. I truly wish you the best.
King Simmons is 5 Star in all aspects. They are friendly, sincere, diligent and professional. They are winners! I received top notch service so my experience with them was very pleasant. I highly recommend King Simmons, P.C.
Lindsey is the best of the best for workman's comp. Alabama workman's comp laws can be rough to traverse, but Lindsey and her team do a great job. I highly recommend them.
Ms. Simmons and her assistant Robin are absolutely the best. Very attentive, knowledgeable & do very well at keeping you informed. I can't give them enough stars for their services & expertise.
Ms Simmons was not a very unprofessional lawyer she was very unprofessional and she didn't work hard enough for your case or fight to get what you deserve and when she tells you something that's she's going to do she always twisting around and saying she didn't say that's when she did so I wouldn't recommend her to any of my family or friends or anyone else she gets Morgan & Morgan a bad name 🙏🙏🙏
Ms. Barnes - I'm so sorry you feel this way. I always try to be as direct and informative as I possibly can, and in the many conversations we had both in person and over the phone, I tried to explain the status of your case. I certainly was not aware of this level of frustration on your part leading up to the hearing and when we were in Court, before the Judge, as you presented testimony under oath about your satisfaction with the settlement. Again, I'm sorry that you feel this way at this point, and we wish you the very best.
They have helped me when nobody else would, they will return your call. Great people
Thank you Mr. Bellars! It was our absolute pleasure to represent you.
I have to give Ms. Simmons, Danielle Ingram, and Ms Robin a huge thank you. Thank you all so much for getting my situation taken care of. Ms. Danielle was a huge help with my mediation and explaining everything during that process. Ms. Robin was always helpful and polite when I had questions. Ms. Simmons was also great when we spoke on the phone answering my questions when I didn't understand part of the process. 10/10 recommend this law firm for they're outstanding ethics, morales, and overall friendliness.
