Kirk Catron, Attorney at Law

Extremely unethical attorney that thinks/thought he can use his limited legal prowess to walk all over clients with the mindset that he is above the law. Catron charged my friend to handle his/her child support case and continued to blow him/her off month after month forcing him/her to hire another attorney. Catron is now facing felony charges as a result of using his "attorney hall pass" mentality. Regardless of the outcome of these charges and multiple formal complaints to the BPR, if Catron continues to hold his bar licensing in TN, what does this say about our local justice system going forward?

Very great defense attorneys they know their stuff and they know the right people. Got my case completely expunged I barely had to do anything didn’t have to really talk to anybody or anything. The only real difficulties I’ve had is the front desk. And case management. I feel like there could be a little more communication to clients about their cases. I would ask questions about payments and court dates but i couldn’t really get a straight answer sometimes. I’d usually have to call or email a lot to get any information about my court dates or payments. I would have liked to know my costs for the attorney and any other payments up front and clearly rather than having to ask five times to have a better understanding of what to pay so I could better manage my own personal finances. But that was only something minor compared to the work they do they do fantastic work kurk is a great attorney he knows his stuff and is very upfront and I barely had to do anything through my case so kurk from my heart I just want to say thank you for doing such a wonderful job. I would be more than happy to recommend you to anyone.

Kirk doesn't follow up on requests and will prepare for your case right before court. Kirk has sent me a message saying that I lied. This is a place for Clients to tell the truth and not be harassed by previous attorneys who didn’t do their job. Kirk asked me not to ever contact him or his office and now he’s contacting me. He’s NOT a good defense attorney. Adding to my review. Kirk was just arrested and is facing multiple felony charges. I told you all he was a horrible attorney and a liar!

I do not recommend this attorney. So many many reasons you should go anywhere else but here. He changed his original comment. Good thing I got a screenshot to show the Ethics Board his lack of confidentiality. He kept my retainer for a canceled case of over two thousand dollars and then after 15 to 20 requests for a detailed billing statement and return of unearned fees, he finally gave me a bill that just so happened to be the exact amount of money he had kept of mine for 3 years. $2500 to push through ONE motion and sit in on a mediation that lasted less than 2 hours. I had to verify all his work for accuracy because it was frequently WRONG. It's easy to win when you follow behind your less than capable attorneys and catch their every mistake before they send you into a spiral of errors too deep to dig yourself out of... Charging for drafting the same motion multiple times. Didn't know that a petition needed to be filed instead of a motion. Would never actually LOOK or have my information accessible during the one call we actually did have. Basic things you shouldn't have to squeeze to get information about from a licensed attorney. Lacking in Due Diligence. Abusing power and perpetuating abuse for clients that already have to endure the same. Shameful. Unprofessional. To be avoided.

Very bad experience this man ran off with thousands of dollars and didn't represent my brother's case... He gave us false information,lied several times and was very unprofessional. When we questioned him about his unprofessionalism,he removed himself off the case and kept all of my brother's money....It's a lot of attorneys participating in this foolishness (#Murfreesboro),(Nashville)&(Rutherford County Jail)ALL will be exposed 2024!

Mr. Catron recently represented me. The attention from him and his staff was second to none. If you want the best representation possible with the best service, then stop looking now. Thank you Mr. Catron, Sam, and the rest of your staff.

I highly recommend Mr Catron for legal issues!! He may be a "man of few words", but He Really gets the job done...just Listen to what he says regarding the steps you'll take. When my temporary bout of impatience caused me to want to call-in daily, his staff Exemplified Compassion, Patience, and the Reassurance I needed. I have since learned to just have Faith in the process, and that his "Team" is working Diligently. Sam, one of the assistants, is "AMAZING". I would give a 0 but you can't do that. Me and my ex husband went to them to file for divorce and for child custody, I was told of March 2023 that everything was taking care of and we didn't have to do anything since I paid them to file and fill out everything. Well fast forward to a year and a month later I'm trying to enroll my son to preschool and they said they did the child custody paperwork ,the court signed one, so I contacted both Kirk who we started the whole thing with then Sam. They finally got back to me and I found out it never happened that something with the court! Then was told they would resubmit it and it would take a week now it's been a whole month and neither one has gotten back to me! So they took my money and have done nothing to help me! I can't even enroll my son to a preschool cause they chose not to contact me or tell me what the heck is going on! Don't use them cause they only want your money and will leave you high and dry
