I sought counsel from Carissa Zingoni in 2019 to help me navigate a somewhat complicated divorce and she handled is flawlessly. The process was explained to me in a very clear and professional manner. Every objective she told me she would follow up on was done so far better than my expectations. Admittedly, I’m always a bit skeptical of the legal system, but I always felt cared for and in good hands. I recently had some questions related to the case and found out that Carissa was no longer practicing law and had the opportunity to speak with Evan. What a great guy?! He spent far more time explaining the details of the matter than I had anticipated and it felt like speaking to an old friend. He was very respectful and professional throughout and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received from them. Highly recommend!

Evan was hired on my behalf under a limited retainer. Without communication Evan and his team exceeded the retainer and continued representation. Evan then withdrew from my case, without any notice, the moment he felt he would lose the case. I had to hire a new lawyer to finish my divorce with much more personal service. Now, 7 years later, I am being sued in Superior Court by Evan for his services. This should have been a civil amount, but being a lawyer Evan clearly waited to sue until after the amount of his “fees” was enough for superior court. Do not get taken advantage of. Find representation elsewhere! A $3000 retainer was manipulated into over $10000 in costs and no progress was ever made. This is not a lawyer for we, the people. Maybe a skilled lawyer, but terrible personal service.

I can't say enough about Evan. He helped me with my divorce in a timely fashion and went above and beyond to make sure not only I but also my family were fairly situated and settled. Evan Kirshenbaum handled my divorce a few years ago. He was completely supportive and encouraging throughout the entire process. His staff was amazing also. He was not just a divorce attorney, he was a real down to earth person who empathized with my situation and sought the best end result for myself and my children (always kept their best interests at heart) this was a HUGE factor and plus for me. Evan Kirshenbaum is the most disrespectful human being I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Immediately upon entering the room, 20 minutes late, he dragged his feet and groaned like this was the worst thing he could possibly do with his time. During our conversation, he spoke to me in a condescending manner and spoke to me like a child when I was unhappy with his attitude. Additionally, he put his feet up on a chair while I was speaking to him. The only good part of arriving at this office was the sweet blonde girl who also sat in on our meeting. I hope someday she can leave and work for someone who isn’t such a terrible person.

Evan might be an A+ attorney, an and trustworthy fiduciary- I don’t know, I never met the guy. But the wave of nepotism he is currently riding was induced by the tectonic collapse of his father, Allen’s, ethical credibility into the depths of the corrupt swamp that is Rhode Island Family Court (Google it). These 5 star reviews were bought and paid for- let’s see how long this one lasts.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I've had a few lawyers for family court and this is by far the best one I have had yet. My ex tried to capitalize on the fact that I was ill during my pregnancy and during covid. We got everything my son needs and deserves.. Thank you so much I'm so glad I get to see my son go to school and grow and it's all thanks to you
