Knapp & Roberts - Scottsdale

Based on my experience with this particular firm, I can not recommend them. To be frank, I have a difficult time understanding how they could be in business.

First off I just wanna say how grateful I am to have been able to have Craig as my attorney. From the beginning he was sympathetic and passionate about my situation and worked effortlessly from beginning to end. I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney! I haven't really written references before, but I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for Craig and his team at Knapp Roberts law firm. In January 2015, my wife was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer, and it was an incredibly tough time for us. I asked a close friend in Los Angeles to look into the top malpractice attorneys in the Scottsdale Arizona area, and Craig ranked within the very top. I quickly created an electronic presentation, which he reviewed right away, and he reached out to set up an interview with my wife and me. I quickly found Craig to be very understanding, which helped me decide to hire him and his firm for our medical malpractice case. My wife went through years of treatments, including chemotherapy and radiation, but unfortunately passed away at the end of 2018. The whole experience was overwhelming, with countless trips to her care providers and various appointments. Craig helped ease some of that burden by not only taking on the case, but also assuring us that he was on top of everything. He even attended my wife's memorial, which highlighted his character. He was thoughtful, caring, and genuinely prioritized my family's needs from the beginning. The case later became a wrongful death case. Craig listened to everything I had to say, which was a lot, as I was determined to understand how this occurred to my wife under her doctors’ care before her diagnosis. He worked hard to hold those accountable for what happened. He and his team were relentless in seeking the truth, and that’s what I appreciate most. One of the tactics employed by the facility resulted in arguments before the AZ Supreme Court, which were won by Knapp and Roberts and set a new precedent. Through vigorous and informed discussions, Craig Knapp ultimately negotiated an equitable settlement. My wife and her brothers will always grieve their mother, but Knapp and Roberts were able to bring a degree of closure to these sad circumstances. It's my sincere belief that Craig Knapp and his firm met and overcame daunting obstacles that would have left lesser lawyers foundering.

Craig Knapp’s kindness and compassion toward my son and our family cannot be overstated. Likewise, his professionalism and expertise. I have a son with severe developmental disabilities, including not being able to verbally communicate in ways most people can understand. He requires around-the-clock supervision and support. In 2019, in what was supposed to be an effort to provide him with additional support, he was a part-time resident in a group home. Unfortunately, while there, he was treated with significant negligence and abuse, even beaten by a staff member. Legal actions were continually delayed due to covid restrictions. Craig was proactive in providing us with updates about timelines and preparing us for mediation with the group home’s representatives.
