It has taken me a long time to write this review for the simple fact that Kohn law is so much more than amazing. I lost my mother in January '23 and was referred to Kohn Law. I know that I worked with every single beautiful person in that office, and every one of them treated me with so much kindness. Everyone was empathetic and cared about me and what my family was going through. They fought for my mother and all that she went through. They took what I was going through into account, and they were honest every step of the way. They explained every avenue that could happen and guided me with the best course of action. They treated my mother like she was their own and fought as if they were fighting for their own parent. Jason and Kim are absolutely beautiful people and a true God send. I will be forever grateful for everything they did. If you ever need anyone that will fight for your loved one, Kohn Law is the place to go. UPDATE: I have to update this review to again say how thankful I am for this law firm. I used Kohn Law for my case but I also needed a Probate Attorney to handle the estate case. Though my business with Kohn Law has been completed, my Kohn Law attorney, Jason Delgado, continues to work with my Probate Attorney. His goal is to help my family and I find a positive closure so we can move on with our lives and rest assured we received the best outcome possible. I contacted Kohn Law when I suspected abuse at a facility where my mother was residing. I had been taking pictures and documenting for awhile. Needless to say, my mother passed away from her substandard treatment and finally, an injury which caused her death. Jason Delgado has so much knowledge in the field of nursing home abuse. The staff was always prompt when returning calls, they were always available to answer questions, and I always had access to correspond by emails with anyone on the staff. The attorney would periodically arrange a phone meeting with me so I knew how the case was progressing since I live several hours from Tampa. You not only get an attorney but rather an entire team when you retain this firm. They are knowledgeable with nursing home abuse, wrongful death cases, Medicare and Medicaid. The best decision I made was retaining this firm to help my family and I navigate a very sad situation. My family had an adventure regarding a nursing home abuse case against Hillcrest. I think they were either lawyer 19 or 20 who I finally was able to reach out to. They were the ONLY ones able to get the medical records, unfortunately by the time I got to them the statue of limitations had passed (issue going on for over 3 years). Bless them though they actually read through everything and talking with us anyway. If only they had been the FIRST or even SECOND we could have gotten justice for my grandmother. At least I have the documentation that I will be using to help shed light on what happens in nursing homes.
