A friend of mine had some traffic offenses. The first thing Ryan Kolbeck did was call us back soon - other's didn't. We had a preliminary consultation during which Ryan suggested a strategy for dealing with my friend's situation. Shortly thereafter I received a call from the prosecuting attorney to discuss the case - for me this discussion was unexpected, unplanned. On the spot I proposed to the DA what Ryan had suggested. The DA cooperated completely and went with along the reasonable proposal I made but which actually originated with Ryan. As I write this the case is completely resolved due to me following Ryan's counsel. I subsequently met Ryan to thank him for his help and to offer him at least some payment for what amounted to spot on legal advice. He declined payment - our thanks was enough for him. Sooo - Ryan Kolbeck's legal acumen was excellent in this situation, and him declining payment for that initial consultation demonstrates beyond a shadow of a doubt - "he ain't no money grubbin lawyer."
