This was a complete waste of time. I showed up fully prepared with a major, high-value case involving over $900 million in cryptocurrency fraud. I had already done all the legwork myself—completed the investigation, organized the evidence, drafted the exhibits, and had everything ready for submission to the Eastern District of Michigan. She wouldn’t have had to do any heavy lifting—just represent the case. Despite that, she was over 30 minutes late to our scheduled Zoom consultation and never even showed up to the platform. I sat there waiting while she casually called me by phone instead, acting like blowing off the Zoom meeting was no big deal. When we finally talked, she didn’t ask serious questions about the case. Instead, she veered off into irrelevant tangents and acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about—even trying to explain crypto basics I clearly understood better than she did. Her knowledge of cryptocurrency law is shallow, and it showed. Worse, all she seemed to care about was getting paid. I had made it clear ahead of time that I was requesting a contingency arrangement due to the nature of the stolen assets. She kept repeating that she doesn’t take contingency cases, but if that’s true—why take the meeting at all? She clearly didn’t care about wasting my time. Her tone was condescending, and I left feeling like she thought she was above me just because she’s a lawyer. There was no interest, no respect, and no sense of partnership. Just ego, dismissal, and dollar signs. If you’re dealing with a serious crypto case and you’ve already done the hard work—look elsewhere. This isn’t someone who values your time, effort, or experience.

Response from owner

Hi Wade, I am sorry that you feel this way. I provided you with a free, 30-minute consultation. I am more than qualified with my experience and an LLM in Homeland and National Security Law to handle your case. Attorneys are required to verify information and investigate allegations before filing a case. However, unfortunately, you did not provide me with any information to review. You requested full contingency payment terms, and that is not something that my firm offers at this time. My assistant informed you of this before our consultation. Before I even quoted you a cost for your case, you decided that you did not want to move forward. At the end of the day, I understand that you are having a difficult time. I wish you well and hope that you find an attorney that is a better fit for you.

Kind Regards,
