I wouldn't recommend Mio Santiago to anyone dealing with a trust. He canceled on me for the initial consultation. After that he didn't really do anything for me except parrot back things ai had already told him. Communication was very poor. A week or 2 before getting an email back from him. I received an email back from him 5 weeks to the day from my last email to him asking him to move fast. 5 weeks. And said "sorry for the delay"... 5 WEEKS.. $1800 later and nothing accomplished. Find someone else.

Kozlowski Law Group was excellent. The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My case was handled quickly and they kept me informed the entire time. I highly recommend them.

Easily intimidated in family court, Little to zero effort, but quick to bill of course

I had a disappointing experience with Kozlaw LLC. I initially reached out to them for assistance with a trust, and at first, they were responsive in requesting the necessary documentation. However, things quickly went downhill after that. I had a phone meeting scheduled with Mio Santiago from Kozlaw LLC, which was unfortunately canceled at the last minute by Mio Santiago. I understood that things happen and agreed to reschedule. However, the rescheduled meeting was also canceled by Mio Santiago at the last minute. It became clear to me that Kozlaw LLC's interest in assisting me diminished when they realized the task was simply to help close a trust, rather than managing it long-term and collecting ongoing trust administration fees. Despite not doing any actual work, Kozlaw LLC retained $500 of my retainer. Furthermore, when I requested confirmation that my NPI data had been removed from their systems, I received no clear communication or confirmation. Ultimately, I turned to a different, more professional firm that successfully helped me close the trust without issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Kozlaw LLC for legal assistance. Of course, your experience may differ.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Mio Santiago and his firm. He works quickly and efficiently, always making sure things are handled with care and precision. What stands out the most is that I genuinely feel like he has my best interests at heart. It's a great relief to work with someone you can trust completely. Mio has been instrumental in helping us build our business and has also guided us through estate planning. Every interaction has been smooth, professional, and a pleasure. Having him on our team gives us confidence and peace of mind. I highly recommend Mio and his firm to anyone in need of legal services!

We worked with Mio on estate planning and had an excellent experience. He and his staff are professional but still friendly and easy to talk with. We had quite a few questions about setting things up and he answered them thoroughly. We were definitely satisfied with the service we received.

When purchasing my home in Burlington there were title issues that Mio Santiago was paid to fix. A couple years later I go to sell the home and the issues that he was supposed to clear, are still there. He's been aware of the issue since July and has yet to communicate or get the issues cleared as he was paid to do so. I've lost 3 buyers on the home because of this issue and will probably end up in foreclosure.
