You'd expect an adverse party to leave a poor review of an attorney, but let me tell you exactly why. Mark Kramer handled my ex-wife's side of my divorce and custody filing. He managed to string things out as long as possible, despite multiple red flags regarding my daughter's safety and mom's lability. Why would he do that? Well because I was paying the bills. He didn't care about the kid, he cared about his fees. Anyway, as it turned out, mom used the time and lack of oversight to make child pornography with my young daughter - among other things. Good job, Mark. I eventually won full custody of my daughter with a restraining order against mom after everyone moved to Washington State, and she's a happy teenager now. As for Mark Kramer - well Karma's a B. In the process of being who he is, he also violated a basic ethical standard of his profession, and I called him on it with a formal complaint to the Oregon Bar. Why he would do what he did for such a client I don't know, it was an obvious offense, but the Bar sanctioned him and removed his ability to function as a pro tem judge. If an unethical, sanctioned attorney is what you're after, Mark Kramer is your guy. If you're not that kind of person, look elsewhere. Also, if you've been subjected to some flagrantly unethical behavior from an attorney, the Bar does listen to the public. You can imagine they get a lot of angry complaints though, so just keep it succinct, factual and professional - and wait until your case is no longer active.

Had Mark do mediation for my wife and I. He felt extremely inexperienced, like it was his first time. Perhaps with experience he could improve, but at the moment, I would definitely not recommend him for mediation.

Find any other practice than Kramer and Associates. When I paid my fee to discuss my case Mark came late to my appointment and was unprepared to discuss. He had me believing we had a chance to fight my case. If I would have known this was all a waste of time, I would not have spent the time, effort and emotional toll on fighting. I had to pay a second time to have a different Lawyer in this firm to look at my case. This one at least listened and was prepared to discuss my case. The worst I dropped my case and had to fight to get any sort of refund remaining on my retention fee. Mark told me refund would come in to 50% installments. Absolutely unacceptable as the client we are REQUIRED to pay their fee.

I remember meeting Mark back in 2011 after losing my two kid's. Even though I never had a chance to retain him as counsel, he is a great listener. I've been waiting patiently for my You Tube friend who asked me to spend the rest of my life with him 12 years ago. He is still in Arizona but manages to make it here every other week for a few days. Do not use this attorney. You'll pay for a service and he literally puts in zero effort. He'll waste your time and your money.

As a whole this place is Pessimistic and I need to say anything about the money or the color of your skin. Receptionists is rude short and very very bland you could tell she has a job that’s OK don’t bring it on me and the customer I would not recommend this office of color anyone who is has Optimistic environment around them these people will bring dark clouds instead of solving your case

I have a case straddling both civil and circuit courts simultaneously dealing with the same matter. Lost my custody and visitation of my son over a bogus paid for custody evaluation. My ex was hiding our child and moved 4 times to keep him hidden. I had 0 hope of ever changing this. Then I hired Mark. He and his team work tirelessly and gave me my son back. I have had 4 other attorneys. 3 told me to give up and wouldn’t take my case. Mark did the impossible. Don’t waste another second. Hire this man.

Really disappointed. After speaking to a few law firms I was recommended to Kramer, they said he has won against Kaiser before. I took the time of getting my medical history and meeting with a mediator with the head doctor. Then I went to him per request and gave him everything he asked for. He guaranteed he would find me an expert and I was going to pay for it as I found my case so important. It could have been from a few hundred or thousand up to 10,000 and I was ready for this. He told me to do a few things like yogo and physical therapy so I did these thing, even a chiropractor. All pretty spendy I'll tell you and nothing cured my pain. He emailed me once saying the first doctor he contacted didn't specialize in my area so he'd go fo a recommended one and he even sent me forwards of his emails. Well all of a sudden a few weeks went by with no emails or info. I called his office and spoke to the front office and they said they would call back to see what was going on since he wasn't in. No one ever called so I called more and left messages and even sent an email asking what's going on and never got a reply. My lawsuit was supposed to be put in by before the end of February and now I'm glad I didn't because he wouldn't be representing me. I wasted so much time there I had to contact a Seattle lawyer now and have little time and have to get a copy of an MRI again.

Extremely bad experience. Kramer hired an expert dentist (was attorney also) to tell me what my case was worth. Expert said $100,000's less than what it was worth. Dr. Robert Staley Salem. Went to arbitration and Ms Root (attorney) ignored perjury, or so it seems as the BAR ignored it also. The Bar is organized crime under the color of law in my opinion. The Bar is supposed to be regulating these attorneys, See Kramer complaints see Hoffman complaints, lots more, not much regulation, more a Trade group bankrolled even the insurance defends the attorney when you file a complaint. There is a good reason attorneys have "nasty" jokes made about them. You would think some lawyer somewhere is rich enough to clean this all up. Keep in mind Judges are lawyers. Never ending circle of one hand washes the other. Shame

Mr. Mark Kramer has got to be the most honest attorney that I have ever dealt with. From the moment that I sought his council he has been direct and honest. When I had my first consult with him he said you may lose this case, as it is a hard case to fight. Mr. Kramer has made me feel like I am part of a Team and not just his client in this case. He pays attention to the detail but leave no weight to the small stuff. The Old saying is you can’t fight the Government; this saying is untrue with Mr. Mark Kramer by my side.
