Kurt rocks!

I was extremely disappointed with the service provided by Kurt A. Johnson, Esq. The executor hired him to provide a thorough accounting of the estate, but the experience has been anything but satisfactory. First, the accounting records were incomplete and contained significant omissions. Notably, a $20,000 check (#213) and a $20,001.18 deposit were not included in the accounting. When questioned, Mr. Johnson asserted that these transactions could be omitted because they "nearly cancel each other out," which is fundamentally incorrect. When I raised these issues, the response was not only dismissive but also unprofessional. Mr. Johnson proposed to charge $500 per hour to revise the accounting records, which is unreasonable given that the initial accounting was flawed. Additionally, he remarked, "I don’t understand why you are being so picky about very minor items, but I am happy to charge you additional fees to give you what you want." As a beneficiary, I have the right to a clear and accurate understanding of the estate’s finances. Mr. Johnson's attitude and proposal to charge additional fees for correcting his own errors are unacceptable. This experience has raised serious concerns about the transparency and professionalism of Kurt A. Johnson, Esq. I would not recommend Kurt A. Johnson, Esq. to anyone seeking reliable and professional accounting services, especially for sensitive matters such as estate management.

Kurt is great, bought car from estate and he's honest and a professional.
