Found this firm through my works legal insurance for my husband. He reached out and was told they could assist. Signed the required documents the same day sent to us. My husband has reached out multiple times and given excuses but seen zero results. Is promised call backs that never happen. Three months later we are going to start over and I'm going to report the situation to the legal insurance company since nothing was done because there should be no payment for no work. Really sad because we had hoped for the best.

0 stars. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!!!! I completely agree with all the other bad reviews through my own experience. I was in a car accident, where a kid ran a red light and totaled my car. The insurance company was only claiming 80% liability which is why a sought to hire a lawyer in the first place, because or Idaho’s insane 80/20 rule. I didn’t understand that if someone only has 25,000 liability coverage and hits multiple cars I am basically left with the leftovers. I did not receive enough money from the insurance company to cover my damages and expenses. That was not discussed with me upfront and until I found out months later that was the situation. I don’t believe there was enough transparent communication regarding how that process works. The communication was atrocious and I had to constantly email for updates over a year of try to get settlement. The paralegal completely got the details of my case wrong when writing the demand letter, like she didn’t even read the police report. That completely broke my trust and made me believe this was an incompetent firm. If you can’t get the details right on the demand letter what other things are being done wrong? PLEASE FILE A GRIEVANCE with the state bar if you are also experiencing any problems. Read the other poor reviews. USE someone else!!!!! I feel I got completely screwed over. NOT WORTH IT! LOOK FOR ANOTHER LAWYER! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!

Mr Lackey and his team have were absolutley incredible, I have worked with them for over 4 years and we finally were able to come to an end on our rather difficult case. I really appreciate them answering my questions and keeping me updated (Carrie was awesome at always checking in with me and giving updates). My experience was great until one of his clerks decided to lecture me after I asked a question. I asked her 4 times and she did nothing but berate me. When I got mad, she sabotaged my housing application out of spite. I'm disabled, but who cares? My life is expendable!

I had a consultation at the start of the month. I reached out the following week because I hadn't heard anything and was told the lawyer was out of town which there was no communication about. I sent an email at the start of this week that got no response and another telling them I needed to know if he's looked at anything and he has not. Don't waste people's time if you don't have time for them. The communication from the firm was non existent. This could not have been a more disappointing experience. I've waited around for weeks for the dude not to even give it a thought. Reaching out to me months after the fact to say sorry for the crappy communication isnt changing anything here. Neither is asking me to go back to the joke of a conversation that was also months ago.

Anyone who needs a lawyer, please I beg you to read the reviews. Something I wish I had done prior to spending all the money I had. I definitely do not recommend this firm

Really disappointed

Communication and work is slow as molasses. There is always an excuse, out sick, poor staffing, paperwork filled out incorrectly or not the right paperwork turned, in each time taking a week plus to remedy, lost paperwork due to turn over, staff in charge of my paperwork goes on maternity leave and doesn't reallocate or delegate it, etc. I call for updates and call backs and don't get them. I email for updates and call backs and might get one response but further questions are ignored. Lackey Law group won my case OVER a year ago(which due to poor management it took over a year just to win the Non-Contested case), and just last month turned in necessary paperwork to garnish wages/attempt to return money to me. Is this how working with all lawyers and law groups is like???

My wife and I hired Mr. Lackey. I think personally he means well, I can’t speak well on his legal abilities. Very well reasonably priced, however you get what you pay for. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of an attorney blaming the client for not filing or reminding to file paperwork that wins or loses the case, my case was lost. My wife got worse than the worst case scenario because he was in front of a judge that is bias against him and he quit leaving us alone at trial. Maybe for modifications he’d be okay, new cases I wouldn’t go with his practice. That being said, I respect him as a person and hope the best.

So my first Attorney was a gangster I’ll admit this. Kudos to him. Gangsters don’t dance they sit for a long time like a year. Hahahaha!!!! Lackey law in Nampa Idaho took my case when no other office would knowledgeable like wisdom. Filing all the correct motions to communicate with the judge presiding. Willing to work with me during these tough and frugal times they are a diamond in the rough I can’t thank them enough. Idaho is one tough grandmother when it comes to divorce and community property, assets, debts, unfairness.
