The worst lawyer. I gave them SOOOO MUCH EVIDENCE to get my kid back and they just threw it away. I got nothing out of the 4k I gave this “lawyer” I talked to his front desk more than anything and it was very apparent they didn’t really care. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. I am working with a new lawyer and have gotten further in the 3 weeks than I did in the 2 years of having him as my lawyer. Truly the worst lawyer I have ever dealt with. I didn’t get to see my kid for months and he didn’t do anything. Within 2 weeks of a new lawyer, I will have my daughter next Friday. They are not worth the low retainer. You are better off paying an extra 2-3k and not waste time or evidence.

I hired Lane Heginbotham at Harris Law Office and my experience has been extremely disappointing. I paid $6,000 in advance, but my case was not handled with professionalism or care. Communication was poor, deadlines were missed, and no meaningful progress was made. Despite repeated attempts to get updates and results, I received little to nothing in return for the money I paid. In my opinion, this office takes advantage of clients and does not deliver the services promised. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring him—protect yourself and look for an attorney who is trustworthy and accountable.

I heard about Mr.Heginbotham from a friend I trust. He is a good listener and his secretary is very pleasant.

What an unbelievably STELLAR lawyer. PLEASE READ. We went through a years long legal battle involving my sons biological mother. (I find myself struggling to come up with the correct words to type in order to properly describe the difference Mr. Lane Heginbotham has made in our lives. Ill give it my best shot). Looking back on the journey, this man was exactly on point for every single phone call, email, and court appearance during our legal journey. I mean it, every time. As well put together as I tend to be in life, there were a few times I internally questioned things or even had fears or outcome doubts (especially considering the emotional circumstances surrounding my son with our particular case). Not only were all concerns discussed and addressed, but the final outcome resulted in the best possible ruling for my son and an amazing change to all our lives forever. The representation was flawless. In my opinion, there isn't a lawyer on earth that could have done better than what Lane did for us when our day in court came around. I believe with every fiber of my being that Mr.Heginbotham and his team were a god send. He and his team represented our family's absolute best interests at heart and helped tremendously in giving my son the opportunity to have a much better life!

Lane Heginbotham has been my Family Law attorney for quite some time. We began our journey together years ago! I hired Lane after my ex-husband began violating my divorce court orders. What seemed as something as simple as filing a contempt motion turned into a long drawn out process due to my ex-husband constantly causing continuances. Despite it all, Lane has always been tentative and quick to respond with any questions or concerns that I may have had. Even through COVID with minimal hearings available, he was still on top of my case. He is very knowledgeable with not only Family law and divorces, but he is knowledgeable with military divorce as well. He knows what entitlements one receives from retirements when dealing with property divisions since that was my biggest issue with my ex. Recently I had to retain a bankruptcy attorney for this ongoing contempt case due to my ex-husband filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy and including the Domestic Order that was issued and has continuously been contempt on. Lane has been the best with this. He has been available to assist with portions of this case even though this is not his field of expertise. He has been tentative with last minute zoom conferences with my bankruptcy attorney as well. Even in the event that my ex-husband falters with his bankruptcy case, Lane will be there to continue the contempt case without any issues. He is cost effective and his team has been the best. I highly recommend Lane for any of your family law needs.

Lane works hard to protect his clients rights. He is friendly, knowledgeable and cares.

Took our retainer and additional money and didn’t even show up for court when ordered. We didn’t get letters to know about court date until after we got notice of “no show”. He wasn’t even showing up for court dates. Secretary is sooo rude!! It wouldn’t allow a zero!! 😡🤬

Paid mr. higenbotham and I can't even get a call back or even the slightest response......all you get is his secretary and I promise they won't call you back..strait crook took my money

Lane has been a blessing to my during this difficult time. He guided me through the long drawn out process of divorce. Helped me get 98% of what I wanted in my divorce. He was a great attorney. I will always recommend him and his firm. Thank you for everything.
