Juggled from law student to law student for 3 years having to re-explain the case every time. Finally got my ex in front of a judge & Laura spent the entire time texting on her cell. Judge enacted a temp payment plan for money my ex owed me & we were to return in 3 mos giving him time to figure out how to pay in full. The day before that hearing, Laura cancelled my court date without telling me. I found out after leaving several messages & sending emails that were ignored when the receptionist told me I didn’t have court. I ultimately wrote a letter to the judge (which you’re not supposed to do but I was desperate for answers). NOW Laura calls & says we didn’t need the court date because he was making payments & she was angry about my letter & wanted me to sign docs excusing her as my attorney. She said if I didn’t she would go before the judge & he would relieve her anyway. I made her do this so we could stand before the judge & hear him ask why we cancelled the court date. She was speechless. She wasn’t paying attention when we were in court to understand this court date was needed to force him to pay the balance. I asked the judge if this meant I had to start my entire case over & he reluctantly said yes. Over 3 years of this for nothing.

After over 5 hours of mediation, this mediator coerced me to pay an unstable 22 year old that married solely for money from a 1.5 year marriage over $40K in assets and an unfair parenting plan because the Judge im up against isn't a 50/50 judge for dads.

Laura is a caring lawyer. She is great with her clients.

Did not look out for her clients best interest and extremely unprofessional. Put us in the worst situation, had to hire a new lawyer.
