I was scared and clueless when I first walked into Art's office. I had no idea what to expect. Art was the first person to look me in the eye and say "why? Why does their dad get to decide everything? Just because he's dad? Nope. Not anymore" He was kind and considerate especially when it came to payments. He kept things short and simple, i didn't hear a lot from him in the beginning, since contact means paying, I trusted that no news was good news. Art is straight forward, blunt, and will expect you to fight for yourself as well. If you're not going to why would he? He made sure i understood what he was saying and what the next steps were. Since then I've referred him to several people who have all been happy

I had a 3,000 dollar retainer. I informed him I already had custody. I informed him I got regular updates from the DA about my ex's court hearings. I still got charged 1300 dollars for writing up papers for custody... I already have that and checking on the legal case that I was labeled a victim in so I was already being updated. I was also told not to do paperwork for child support until after and am out a 9 months of payments because of his advice. He never took steps to stop my child support I was paying my ex who is not allowed contact with the children even. I had to go and finish the order to finalize the emergency order to keep him from the children because mr. Cummins told me I didn't need to do anything with it... Worst experience with an attorney I have ever had. He spoke down to me when he did actually communicate and he gave not one good piece of advice. If zero stars was an option I would have chose that.

I just want to warn the public about this lawyer because I went to him for help and I was desperate and he yelled at me and told me I am my own worst enemy. He's very condescending and cut me off in every single sentence by yelling my name. I truly don't understand. He's supposed to be here to help people not hurt them but that's what he's done. I want to warn you before you even think about going here because he's very rude.

Art did a great job for me when I had a legal matter that needed to be resolved. Not only did he handle it professionally he handled it quickly.

Called for a consultation (and to see if I wanted to hire him to help me), and instead of telling what we could do, he shamed the situation and basically said, "you should have thought of that before you got into this situation." I was expecting so much more from a referral. This is why I always interview before I pay a retainer.

Horrible lawyer after months of meeting about my case, he couldn't remember important details about my case and in middle of meeting he was falling asleep in front of me as I was telling him details of case.... Also took off a major time in middle of my case for surgery witch is understandable but gave me no warning he was going to surgery and my case with my son got put on hold for months , in end everything he was able to do nothing for my son and over a year of court dates and meeting he still wasn't able to remember important details like my kids names or even how many kids I have, only have two children should not be that hard to remember

Great attorney. He and his staff helped me through the most difficult time in my life. I would highly recommend his services for anyone in need.
