From the very first call with Lisa to setup the initial meeting with Barbara I knew I had made the right choice in choosing her and her team to help me with my divorce process. I wanted someone knowledgeable and understanding, someone that I could trust. Barbara and her assistant far surpassed that. Every question or concern I had was answered quickly and in terms that I could understand. I felt at ease during what should have been one of the most stressful times of my life and that is all thanks to Barbara and Lisa. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose them in a heartbeat!

Honestly I would hope that I would never need this type of service again but this was horrible! My ex husband and I get along well and had no issues at all during the entire proceedings. Attorney Liftman left us with unanswered questions and multiple unanswered emails. In fact she missed a meeting that we had both taken off from work for. When court time arrived she forgot we had a QDRO for a 401 k and did not file. We had to wait 2 more months for this to go through which held up both of our living arrangements. She also did not ask the court for certified copies for each of us on that court case and when questioned we were left with another unanswered email. This is not an easy time for anyone to go through and you hope choosing mediation would make things a little easier but do not go with Attorney Barbara Liftman if this is your hope! Literally worst experience I have ever been through.

Barbara was very patient and knowledgeable in executing our divorce, which became somewhat complicated at times. She and her assistant Lisa were able to quickly answer our questions and concerns in a timely manner. She helped us work through various issues to complete our divorce agreement as well as getting the divorce finalized even through the current difficult circumstances of COVID-19 when the courts had closed. I can’t say enough good things about Barbara and her staff. She went above and beyond when it came to executing our divorce agreement. We had some extenuating circumstances that involved quite a bit of extra work for her and Lisa, but they stepped right up and took care of it. She was very patient with all the back and forth and took care of all the details. I was very pleased with how she handled everything and would highly recommend her.

Went through an amicable divorce and Barbara walked us through the process step by step. All of the documentation was prepared in a timely manner and her/her staff were always extremely responsive to questions. Our "virtual" (due to the pandemic) court appearance went as well as we could have hoped and she took care of informing the court about the QDRO paperwork that would follow.
