I truly feel let down by this man. In my opinion I feel like I would have had a better outcome with no lawyer at all. He is a very nice man but in my case and opinion not a very good lawyer.

It was a great experience working with Brett on my misdemeanor case. Once he took over as my lawyer I did not have to appear in court and he always kept in touch and let me know what the status of my case was. He was quick and swift to file any motions or documents necessary and he always had a supportive and encouraging attitude towards the situation. Brett was extremely professional and also relatable as a human being, I felt at ease and under less stress once he was assigned to my case. As of this morning my case was dismissed and I can't express enough gratitude. Overall I would give my experience working with this team 10/10. If you are looking for legal consult or representation I would for sure 100% recommend Mr. Kocijan. Thank you for your contribution to defending the innocent.

100 STARS Rating Brett and his assistant kendra were AWESOME. I could never say enough good things about them. I haven't needed the services of an attorney for 20 yrs. I got into some criminal legal trouble and was charged with battery and enhancement of a 65 year old a felony. I was facing possible multiple years in prison. With the help of defend Ocala brett and his team, he got the case dismissed. I highly recommend his services. Professional polite and they get the job done in timely manner.

I used Bret and paid 8,000 was hard to get ahold of came to me with a plea after 4 months of siting in jail the plea was 3 years probation and 3 years suspension of my license he told me to take it because if I didn’t the offer might not be the same I do not feel like he tried his best to get me a better deal especially when no alcohol was found in the vehicle and I didn’t blow he also took my case in Volusia county jail told me I shouldn’t go to prison for the vop next thing you know I get offered 18 months then a year an a day …took the year an a day oh and on top of alll this I still have to do 3 years probation when I get out thank you Brett you really are a high power dui attorney got me one hell of a deal!! would not recommend

Brett is the worst attorney! Never communicated anything. I had to email and call multiple times and still never recieved a call or email back. Told me that I wasn't going to get anywhere and to basically take the plea agreement. He wouldn't get any of the police reports. When I went to Jeff about things they tried to turn it around on me saying I never reached out. I have emails that have been unanswered and left many voice-mails. And his office gal Kendra so just as bad and not very friendly. My last court date i had to call the courts to find out what time and day it was. Would not ever recommend Brett as an attorney

Brett Kocijan represented me as my divorce attorney. He was easy to work with, made me feel comfortable, very knowledgeable, listed to my needs combined with balance of what I deserve and actual rights and Florida state laws. Back in around 2009 or so Mr.Kocijan helped me tremendously. He assisted in allowing my abusive daughters father sign his rights away as he wished and changed my girls names for me. I didnt have money at the time and he did this for much less than his time is worth. It has been a long time but I have been forever grateful for this act of kindness. 🙏

The most unprofessional people I have EVER have to deal with ! I have called and left multiple messages and things and still never a return. The day of court the receptionist decides to hang the phone up because I’m telling her no one is calling me back. I’m a single mother of 2 babies he took over MY case and has NOT spoke or met with me one time but keep giving a run around ! I suggest to NEVER EVER spend or waste time or money with these people !!! Specifically Brett and the receptionist!!! I will be contacting someone about this !!!! Sad world we live in!! And then when Brett finally calls after 2 minutes later he disrespected me and hung up !! I’m human to and this is not ok !!! I have proof I have called ou fault the receptionist isn’t doing her job!!!
