Brian Nomi was there for me in time of need. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and proactive when it came to my issues. He expedited the processes necessary to rectify the situation and always seemed to find the time to answer my questions even when they were redundant. His continual reassurance kept me going through a dark time and he provided a positive result for me. I received much more from him than I paid for and I wouldn’t hesitate to retain him again.

Response from owner

Thanks Craig!!

Brian nomi is a great attorney. He is a straight shooter and will work with you on a personal level. He doesn’t sugar coat anything and will tell you how it is. Not many attorneys are his type of breed. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him. I highly recommend Brian Nomi!

He was the worst he had no confidence in himself every time I spoke with him he said we're going to lose, had me do certain things and then they were wrong! I would check this so-called lawyer credentials !!! I had already left a review and now it's gone that's weird just like his attitude. Never would I ever step foot in this man's office she's a sham and then he makes you feel awful he has no idea what he's doing I've had lawyers before yet not for what he says he's good at the is not a lawyer who can help you out whether it's eviction or get your tenant out.

Response from owner

I wish to make it clear to the public that this person is not my client and had no basis on which to give this negative review.

Well, this should be done for a long time! Anyways, we had a wonderful lawyer, Atty. Nomi, who indeed a very supportive, very dedicated to his work and compassionate to his client! I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an attorney to listen to their case and stand with them in truth, that needs to be exposed! He is the right person to handle your case! GOD bless!

Just had Brian handle my case with some dead beat tenants that owed me over $10k in back rent. He got on the case right away, and expeditiously filed all the legal paperwork while step by step advising me what to expect. Today the sheriffs department restored my property back to me. Such a huge relief, thanks to Brian.

Response from owner

Thanks! It was nice to work with you.

I do not know the intention nor veracity of the negative reviews for Brian Nomi. I’ve been in real estate for almost 35 years as a builder, broker, and landlord. When I had tenant issues with my property in Ventura County I initially reached out to my legal contacts in L.A. They were not reassuring and just advised me to pay off the tenants as much as $30-$40k. I also reached out to Dennis Block’s office; I didn’t get a call back until four days later. I started calling Venture County attorneys and was referred to Brian Nomi. He was 100% reassuring of a positive outcome. He was very accessible and returned calls very quickly. My tenant issues were resolved at a fraction of what the L.A. attorneys quoted. My only negative regarding Brian Nomi’s services is that he doesn’t work in L.A. County.

Brian is very honest and fair. He charged me for the eviction upfront, but then refunded half saying the eviction was easy! Thank you so much for all your help!

Brian Nomi is exceptional at his profession. Not only does he portray compassion both in encouragement, but also in action. He is highly attentive and intelligent when it comes to the law. I was very nervous about renters in my home until Brian Nomi gave me hope. Thank you. Brian Nomi is highly ethical. It is also nice to know that another trusted lawyer Christina Vanarelli vouches for him as great, even as opposing counsel. I could not recommend him more.

Very disappointed with the outcome of Brian Nomi’s work, I’ve never seen an older man with such a job to help people be so irresponsible and untrusting. Such behavior not only erodes trust but also jeopardizes the outcomes of legal matters, ultimately failing to uphold the principles of justice and fairness.

If given a choice between trusting this guy and being litigated against I'd choose to put a campfire out with my face. I don't know where this dude got his law degree, culinary school probably

I hired Brian in October through a referral. Big mistake. I am kicking myself for this guy is dishonest, forgets things, and downright is shady. I had read a review previously about him here, that he was being referred to the board for someone else who was so mad at him. I ignored and hired him. He continually forgot who I was after hiring him, and then dropped my case on a whim which damaged my situation and I had to fend for myself. He then took on someone who is related to my current situation 6 months later using information on me from our previous case which is a complete violation of code of ethics. When I called him, he stated "he wasn't sure" how he was going to proceed. We will see if Mr. Brian Nomi will break section 1.9 Code of Conduct. Beware. Edit: My final conclusion, is this law firm does not honor the code of ethics and I will be filing a complaint. if you are a tenant, stay away. They represent landlords, or "slumlords overall and the end result was not worth doing business with this firm.
