I sincerely hope others do not have to go through the experience I had with attorney Milissa Barrick at this firm. In my experience working with her, I did not feel adequately represented in court—documents and evidence I had provided that were key to my case were not presented because copies were not available at the hearing, and I even had to clarify information about my own case in front of the judge. I also observed the judge correcting statements made by Milissa Barrick multiple times, which was concerning to me as a client. After the hearing, I was told in a call by Milissa Barrick that the judgment was “just” and that I needed to “accept my mess ups,” which was very discouraging to hear from the attorney I had hired to advocate for me.In my experience, I often felt that my attorney was not fully advocating on my behalf and there were some SERIOUS trust issues. I initially had a five thou trust, but within about two months the total charges exceeded over sixteen thousand. Despite requesting in writing that the firm withdraw from representing me after the hearing, I continued to be billed, which left me feeling trapped and frustrated. I chose this firm because they were among the least expensive options I found when calling around, but the costs ended up being similar to other firms. Based on my experience, I wish I had considered representing myself instead, as the outcome created significant challenges for me and my child that will take years to work through. I can attest that other negative reviews I read reflect experiences similar to my own and I wish I had paid attention to them. My experience with this firm raised serious concerns about their billing and representation practices. I would not hire them again, and I strongly recommend carefully considering other options, asking around on social media, and exploring other firms before deciding. From my perspective, after being with nightmare of a firm, I realized that there were better options available out there as representation, I couldve even rehired one of my former lawyers. This was the worst experience of my life with the worst possible outcome. Edit:It’s been 3 months since I had one of the worst experiences with this law office. My case has been closed for three months and I’m still seeing mystery charges on my account with no explanation. I’ve never experienced anything like this with a business. If the case is closed, why am I still being billed? I would strongly recommend not hiring them, it is frightening, you will feel trapped if you do.

Save yourself a lot of trouble these will not help you. They will bill you for things that have nothing to do with you. They will give you the wrong address to court. They won’t show up and still charge you. They quit and will continue to charge you for services they don’t do.

I’ve been working with Bryan Fagen’s law office for about four months now. Initially, I was optimistic, believing I had someone genuinely caring and committed to helping me. We had one meeting to discuss my issue. After about two months, they had drafted three different counter-petitions. The first one seemed reasonable, and I was okay with it. However, the second and third petitions were not disclosed to me. I had provided them with a USB drive containing all my text messages, receipts, and pay stubs. A day before the hearing, I called my attorney, Melissa Barrick, to inquire about the information she would be presenting. She couldn’t provide a clear answer and seemed unaware of the details of my case. To make matters worse, she requested all the information I had provided months in advance, claiming the files were corrupted and needed to be re-uploaded. On the day of the hearing, she presented incorrect information that I was unaware of, which severely compromised my case. To add insult to injury, she arrived in ripped pantyhose that she claimed were leggings, paired with a leopard print skirt that reached above her knees. It appeared as if she had just gotten out of bed. While I don’t mind her attire, presentation is crucial, especially in a child custody/support case. Moreover, I was charged $11,000 for four months of minimal work. They charged me for emails that required only one-sentence responses and $275 for a 10-minute phone call for basic questions. Additionally, I was charged $950 to file papers.

BEWARE: DO NOT HIRE!! This firm was a complete waste of money. I spent over $7,500 and received almost nothing in return besides meetings and emails. Communication was extremely poor, deadlines were missed, yet I was still charged just for emails being read. Even after terminating the service, they kept sending me bills for their meetings. I truly regret not reading the negative reviews before hiring them.. Hiring them was really the silliest and dumbest decision I have ever made in my life.
