Cathy and Amber were very helpful throughout my divorce, they willing to take me on late notice since my previous attorney retired out of the blue. Saved me a ton in the long run, would definitely recommend.

Lazy attorney when it comes to custody cases. Represented a family member a few months ago. Her attitude was, “let’s wait and see what the opposition wants to do”. Did not fight for her client, did not give any advice, ALWAYS late to file papers, difficult to reach, unprepared in court! DO NOT HIRE! You will lose everything!

It has been a few years since I have emotionally recovered from a very intense bad divorce. I attended every hearing even if I didn’t have to go but I showed up anyways. I wanted to be present to see what my money got me but mostly to stand for myself. I have to say I made an awesome choice with C. Lighty. She was a pit Bull in court and she fought for me. I made sure she had all information and in order and she had my ex’s attorney shaking in her shoes and turned her into a bundle of explosives nerves. Good job! They tried to lie and my attorney put in sealed doc.the proof. She did not play around and I made sure I was very direct with her and what I expected out of her and she delivered. She basically saved my life. I don’t speak for anyone else’s experience but God was looking out for me and he used C. Lighty well. I WILL use her again if I need any attorney again. She is a win win for me

Catherine is never prepared for court! I gave her all the evidence to speak for me and I was muted. She can’t do anything and just said “ok” and didn’t defend me

Craig Lighty and his firm took very good care of me after I was hit on my motorcycle at an intersection. Rosa stayed on top of my case and worked directly with my medical providers requesting them to hold off on billing until settlement. I had zero stress during this process and simply focused on my recovery. The office checked up on me regularly and kept me updated on the status of the case. If I could give this attorney zero stars I would. Does not exercise what she tells you during your consultation. Does not communicate, is constantly out of town, does not meet with her clients in person, when talking to her it's almost as if she's not present, she was unprepared for court, does not communicate accurate information to judges i.e. told the judge I was not on the house title and my ex was, my name is on the house title and I had told her this many times before our hearings. Long story short this seperation has financially ruined me, with my income alone I was not able to keep up with bills, day to day expenses, and attorney fees, Lighty refused to wait for me to come up with the 2K to deposit as my trust fund and dropped me a week and two days before our hearing. I would highly recommend you do not use her, one year of attorney fees all while my children's father has gotten away with not being financially responsible for his portion of caring for our children. Horrible experience.

I have used Cathy a few times over the years and she is always, professional, honest and hardworking. She listened to me and took the time to make sure I understood what was happening with my case. Her team is organized, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend using Cathy for any family court issues that arise. In addition to being a great Attorney, she is kind and respectful.

When I called attorney Lighty and talked with her about possibly divorcing after 35 years of marriage, she was extremely informative with every option I could choose. Experience – Advocate - Compassionate – Supportive – Fighters - Hope My Story: During my search for a divorce attorney, it became apparent that my situation was going to be difficult. Conversations with one attorney left me without hope. I then sought the advice from four friends, with varied legal experience, all who recommended Cathy, stating that she’s an excellent attorney with much experience who would fight for me. During my first visit with Cathy, she too indicated the circumstances were indeed difficult, but at the same time, I could almost see in her mind that she was trying to figure out a way to make it work. She mentioned a couple strategies and it was then, I felt hope. I knew that Cathy was to be my advocate; she would fight for me. During information gathering and subsequent communications with opposing counsel, I primarily worked with Cathy’s paralegal, Amber, who was incredibly encouraging, helpful, wise and supportive. Yes, there were tough times, nonetheless, I stuck to the trust I had in these two women with over 60 years of legal experience between them. Wisely, Cathy suggested mediation because of my situation. She was well prepared for mediation and articulately explained the options to me throughout the process. Finally, we looked at each other and smiled. We knew we had accomplished the goals we had sought. Time for a high five!

My experience with Lighty Law Office was not a good one. I had several meetings with one of the members who was helping to handle my case and on more than one occasion I was confused with another client who had the same name as mine which concerned me that they were unorganized. My main concern was important information I had offered going unheard until I brought it up multiple times. After adding it to my case they failed to send it to the judge until after it was due. The judge wouldn't use the information for that reason.

The parking can be tricky and they are on the spendy side. However the staff have been very compassionate and understanding so far.
