Awful treatment of clients. Catherine Pratt was rude, disrespectful and flat out did not do her job. She in no way advocated for her client (my family member). She relayed info from the other attorney basically stating that it had to be accepted, while belittling and not advising her. The spelling errors alone & utter lack of attention to detail was atrocious for a law firm. Do NOT waste the large sums of money they will charge on an attorney that does not care and treats her clients like garbage.

Wow..this was the worse experience with a business I have ever had. I hired this firm in November 2024 to help with a real estate sale. Previously, I had the pleasure of working with S. Castleton on my late father's estate. She was at a different firm at that time and was amazing, so I hired her again at this new firm. Did I get screwed? Yep. Ivers & Miller has been a nightmare since day 1. They FORGOT about my case from November to January.(I found this out by calling to check in as I had heard nothing in those months). 2 more months went by and when I called again, guess what? Yup, FORGOT again. In April, I learned via another source that my case was in limbo due to a problem with paperwork. I call the firm yet again and pass on the info. Well, turns out there was 1 phone call and 1 email sent. My $1000 retainer was now less than $600 balance. I requested via email that this matter was closed, I no longer needed services and would like a refund. Sent that on 5/30. After a week I reached out again and was told the person that handles all the finances would be out on vaca until 6/17. Today is 7/21 and I finally got my refund. Was shocked that it cost me another $300 to close this. Ended up with $267 out of $1000. That's a lot of money to get forgotten about and lead on for almost a year with NO RESULTS. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!!!

Yikes wish I could give them zero stars…receptionist was extremely rude. Called trying to contact a lawyer who had been referred to us in regards to a work discrimination case… instead of being helpful their receptionist m hung up on me…. More discrimination at Ivers and Miller.

Andy and his team of assistants are very helpful. I highly recommend this firm for anyone dealing with family court. Andy will work hard for you. One thing that everyone should understand is that a superb lawyer is always very busy, so you'll have to be patient throughout the court process. Your family will be safe and in great hands choosing this firm.

Horrible attorney, does not listen to client's wishes, does not follow through with what he says he will do. Office way over charges for poor service. Doesnt work well with other atterneys, nor the court. Would advise all to stear clear of this attorney!!!

I recently met with Sarah Castleton at Ivers and Miller Law Office to prepare my will. Ms. Castleton was kind and professional, and took the time to answer questions and explain my options. She was available for answering questions during the process of preparing my will and kept me informed of progress being made. I highly recommend Sarah Castleton for estate planning.

By far worst people you could possibly work with. They try a scam you out of your money the second you try an get a consult. These people are rude. Withhold anything you give them. My experience: I go in for consult and ask very basic questions about how their pay works etc. as I asked questions the office lady got more and more rude as I try an make sure my money goes to the right place. Well she kept trying to convince me to give her my money as I’m making sure it’s going to be worth it. She continued getting more verbally aggressive to such a point I said never mind and asked for my paperwork back. She withheld my information and claimed she has a shredder and walked out of sight from the desk with all my info. NEVER GO HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!!

I came in totally shaking to see Judge Murphy when he was a side kick in this firm. He had semi retired. So I've got to give a shout out.! A "person" had gone to a business trying to defamation my name, character, and bring trouble legally for their own benefit, of finances. I've never been talk about this way, always an excellent rep. The place of business however told the person to leave because they knew me, I guess some horrible things were said. Judge Murphy listened to me, he understood. No judgement. I could have sat with the Judge all day. He looked into it, told me what to do, told me he believed me, and he had my back, said he'd be there. Then took me on a tour of the old building. I believe, that's what people want to hear in this day of Guilty, hung up in the town square, until you prove yourself innocent. Someone who has your back, and schools you, on what you should do. So I have to say for the "small" amount I paid, the safety I felt, armed, this firm was excellent!

I'd give zero stars if I could. I used Andy 13 years ago and I'm now being sent to collections for a $5,000 bill I was unaware of. No notices or calls for 13 years and now the collections agency took my entire savings that was supposed to pay my property taxes. Front Desk staff was completely useless and kept cutting me off. Said she can't talk to me since I'm in collections. Take your money elsewhere!

Unfortunately I cannot say anything good about Andy Ivers or his staff. Cussing and being unprofessional. Andy's appearance was shocking to me when I met him the first time. Should have been my red flag. The front desk girl and the office right across from her will converse negatively about other clients right in front of you. And speak about their cases. I paid this office over 20 grand! Yes... you read that correctly. And Andy dropped me a month before my trial because I asked what he was working on. Thankfully my new law firm was able to clean his mess up. He had nothing done a month before trial! Thats causing your client harm. He played me and my family for our money. I'm shocked honestly... as Andy was the "bulldog" of the area. But all the talk and reviews are real and true. If you take anything from this review... take your money elsewhere or expect to be played.

Mr. Miller and Julie are excellent. They are very communicative and respectful. They tell you how it is and are there to fight for you.

Mr. Iver’s and his secretary were beyond rude and unprofessional. At one point his secretary called us in to meet with Mr. Iver’s and he had no idea why we were there, and then the secretary tried to lie about it until we pulled up the email. He drug his feet with our custody case and kept billing us for paper shuffling. Nothing got done over the course of a year. With trial being in one month, Mr. Iver’s left the office without warning and Mr. Miller took over. He tried to pressure us into a settlement and then after we told them twice not to send in the settlement, he did. Then they dropped us as clients because they said we were dissatisfied clients. Mr. Iver’s appearance has deteriorated significantly recently, he is very agitated and behaviors are erratic. In the search of finding a new attorney, several different attorneys have reported that this case has been “mismanaged” and did not agree with the advice Mr. Iver’s gave to us through this year process. Weighing the opinions of other professionals in the field and our recent experiences, we believe Mr. Iver’s lawyering is ineffective and below the standard required by law. A complaint has also been made to the bar. Do your research. Meet the staff first. And keep them in check with your money cause they are greedy and dishonest.
