Law Office of Elise Epperson Deano

My experience with Law Office of Elise Epperson Deano was not what I expected. I paid my fees upfront for a contested divorce but did not feel that my concerns were fully prioritized. On the day of trial, I felt encouraged to accept a settlement that I was uncomfortable with. I was told that if any issues arose, I could return to court for a modification at no cost. In my opinion, if everything had been handled correctly the first time, a modification would not have been necessary. Since then, I have made several attempts to follow up regarding the promised modification because there are still matters that need attention. Unfortunately, I have not received responses to my emails, calls, or messages. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

My case was a living nightmare from start to finish! Elise and Gina are excellent and I highly recommend them in the unfortunate situation of needing an attorney.

Awful experience. I was told by Ms. Deano that time was of the essence where my case was concerned. At the same time no response from her to phone calls, voicemails or emails. I was ignored for 2 months then I decided to find another lawyer because of her negligence. I emailed her once again to let her know I did not need her services any longer and would like a refund on my retainer fee. Of course, I got a response that time in which she tried to blame my prior lawyer for not providing certain documents when in fact she was given the entire file and had everything she needed to move forward. She showed no remorse for her actions and charged me $1800.00 for doing nothing for me except making a phone call to my prior lawyer and sending an email. She also admitted in her one and only email to me that she did not want to have to dig through the file for certain documents. So again, basically I was charged for no work on her part. I find her highly disrespectful and a disgrace to the bar association.

She stuck with me through all the mess. It was more than we even expected but she stuck it out a drove my sinking ship back to dry land! Thank you Elise

A divorce is probably one of the hardest situations to go through.. Especially when a one year old boy is involved. Doing my own research on what to do to make it best for both parties involved seemed almost pointless after speaking to Ms. Deano, she is very intelligent and is absolutely awesome at what she does. She knew what to do and how to word the papers so I was protected now and in the future. Can not recommend her enough.

I'm in shock after reading some of the negative ratings below until I figured out they have be people with a vendetta, out to destroy Mrs. Deano. I've dealt with MANY lawyers in my time and have NEVER met with one that has ever impressed me more than this one! She took the world off of my shoulders the minute I walked into her office , sat down, and talked with her. Everything that she said she would do, she did it! She returned my phone calls & texts every time that I needed her. I would highly recommend her services to any honest , law-abiding citizen , who needs justice to prevail!
