I contacted Mr. Shiu to ask about my eviction notice. Unlike other attorneys that I called before him, Mr. Shiu talked to me for 34 minutes on the phone. He showed serious interest in knowing what my case is about, and after explaining to him, he offered me some self-help options. He told me how to file for a motion and what to do for my case. He even said he could do it for me, but it'll be $1000+, which he honestly said is a waste of money and said "you could use that money to pay for other things". I mean, with an attorney this HONEST in helping a stranger, I don't know what else is a better metric in judging someone that can help you.
