I never needed a lawyer in my life, wc insurance company changed all that. Having to navigate a lawsuit can be a daunting process without proper representation. I’m lucky that I found the Office of James White. Between attorney White and his paralegal Kristie Goyer the process was easy. There needs to be a lot of follow-up in a lawsuit or small things will fall through the cracks and that can affect the case. This office checks that box. And you need FaceTime with your attorney. With a lot of the “big firms”, you never meet anybody. These firms look at their clients as a number. You may never meet anyone from a firm like that unless you are heading to court. I couldn’t be happier with the result I had with Jim White and Kristy Goyer and I would highly recommend them.

*Detailed review James was extremely helpful throughout the entirety of my case which remained quite extended due to multiple surgeries and my request to continue care and reach max healing. Though Covid was a difficult time for us all having closed down the court, Jim's paralegal (I'll say K' to maintain anonymity since she is not the name on the office) still maintained continued communication with me. At times I could be long winded due to my frustrations with my injury and the process as a whole, but she responded promptly each time with a resolution. Firstly; Do know the office will not contact you to "check in" unless there is news on your case, but stay involved and feel free to ask questions. They are working diligently I found & they do respond very promptly when contacted. Secondly; I believe reputation within the system itself is important if you hope to work painlessly through it. Jim's respect for the system and his clients eases that path on our side & it appears it is returned to him by his colleague's & peers. In my opinion that is an earned position within the system, so I was happy to be represented by him. Prior to this, I did not know him or his office. He was just located near my parents home and I required transportation assistance. But I am now glad I took that gamble to call a lawyer, because to be honest the systems a mess and the insurance company may fight you needlessly. Even after liability is proven there are too many opportunities for them to delay your care if you dont have someone there fighting for you since everything needs an approval. I feel the burden of WC falls on the system and therefore the people rather than the company to do the right thing. And the system is inundated. WC lawyers don't make the same as defense attorneys so not enough want to take on WC in my or many other areas. Glad to have found an office willing to work my case, answer my questions, & inform me with information on questions I didn't know to ask. But do your own research as well!
