I would absolutely recommend Jim Urtis. He took over my case after a previous attorney, Andrew Hamilton dropped my case with the reason that he said he couldn’t litigate it since my car was registered in Wisconsin and the accident was in Illinois. I learned that was false from Jim who rapidly took over the case and filed the necessary motions to get the lawsuit moving again since it was almost past the statute of limitations deadline. I was impressed by the professionalism of Mr. James Urtis in providing me services as a personal Injury attorney. The consequences of the accident of 11/23/22 (I was hit by a car as a pedestrian) were mitigated by his matter-of-fact ways of handling the situation. For example, I would have never guessed that my car insurance could/would pay since I was not driving my car. Mr. Urtis knew better.
