James is awesome. I spent 2+ years with other attorneys that took my money and had horrible results. I tried big name and discount attorneys. I figured I was just wasting my money on these guys so I tried going it alone through the county clinic. A lot of mistakes were made with and without those attorneys. I needed help so I gave it one more shot and wish I would have found James from the beginning. I could have saved sooo much money and time and had better results with James. Hes much more knowleagable than the other attorneys I tried. He might be more expensive than the discount attorneys but hes better and faster at his job too. In the end I would have saved more money going with James(in fees and judgements) than the discount guys and had better results. His rates are also very reasonable compared to some of the firms you see on the billboards or in the media. Now that Im working with James my ex and her attorney are no longer running my life. Im also very impressed with how super responsive James is. I usually hear back from him within 15 minutes of me asking him a question. He also has great working relationships with the other attorneys and the judges. I know this sounds like an advertisement or something but I really cant say enough good things about James.

Mr. McGarvey gave me a chance to make a change in my daughters life when I was told by many other attorneys that I didnt have a good chance of getting only 50/50 of my little girl. The moment we met he gave me confidence in himself and the plan he had put together and in no time I was in agreement with my ex to get 50/50. he was very knowledgeable and handled my case very fast. meaning I wasn't having to come out of pocket so much outside the retainer fee. James handled my divorce for me. I filed early October and he had it done by the middle of November! No one I’ve talked to can believe how fast or how cheap he got it done for me. He came in to it with care and compassion making sure it was equitable for all involved. He cares about people and made sure that my children would still be well taken care of. Very unprofessional and very expensive! Doesn't follow directions and does what he wants as an attorney. Charged me $3900 for a plea an abeyance which anyone can do themselves. Wish I would've went with an alternative attorney.
