My wife and I went to Mr Strain to help us with the adoption of our two grandchildren. Mr Strain was professional and returned our calls whenever we called. James took time to help us get thru an emotional legal process. Adoption is not an easy process and takes time, patience and a good affordable lawyer. James' cost was also very reasonable for all the time and work that our case entailed. Thanks James

Mr. Strain has helped my mother resolve multiple issues over the years. Prices are fair and he has always been in her corner. I cant say how much we appreciate everything his office has done for our family and would hands down say he is the best in Slidell.

Not a good experience at all

Jim Strain and his staff did a great job in helping us adopt our two grandchildren, very professional and extremely friendly, words cannot say enough...

We used Mr. Strain for our mother's Succession and to prepare Wills for us. He was competent and professional. Both issues were handled quickly and at a reasonable price. We would recommend him to our family and friends for any succession issues or to do their Wills.

Jim handled my issues with great care,time and understanding. I would recommend him for any legal advice you may need. He gave me solid advice and his fees are reasonable.

Strain didnt do a thing except sit in... didnt fight, didnt argue... if you have a few thousand to throw away... throw it away someplace else... i did not receive proper representation by any means... this man told me $800 a month for child support for 1 child is normal... he has multiple cases going on and obviously mine was least important... i spent maybe 45 min with him face to face, but it cost me $2500. Apparently copy/ pasting names, short sentences, and filing fees eat up your whole retainer fee... this place is a joke. Hope everybody else gets treated better and as if their life and family matters.
