I absolutely recommend John no matter which side of the courtroom you're sitting (or standing)! Top notch lawyer! Fees are absolutely appropriate for the time, effort, calls, texts, etc. His communication skills are absolutely great! To semi-quote the Intro to the 80's series "The A-Team"... "If you have a problem, if nobody else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire... THE B-TEAM (sorry John... I think "The A-Team" is trademarked)!!!

I knew from the first phone call with John that he was confident, capable and would work hard to achieve the best outcome in my case. I had a somewhat complicated situation; I was visiting my grandma from out of state when she and I were victims in head-on collision caused by a negligent driver, and given Pennsylvania's no fault insurance laws I knew my grandmother's insurance would not cover my hospital bills, which were immeasurable at that point. John gave me his clear-eyed assessment of the case and had such a compassionate, good natured way about him that put me and my family at ease. He took on a multi-year pit fight with various health and auto insurers and worked doggedly to get me the maximum possible settlement. Throughout that time he also helped me and my family in innumerable meaningful ways that made mine and my grandmother's recovery a bit less stressful. When my grandmother's auto insurance refused to pay for a rental car, one phone call from John got the whole thing sorted out and I had transportation within a day. The collision also happened during a time when cars were incredibly difficult to source- but a connection of John's got my grandma's car replaced within a reasonable timeframe and at a good price. John was a true lifeline during a very traumatic time, and I could not recommend him more highly.

I sought the services of PA School Law Alliance and Attorney John A. Biedrzycki to assist with a school disciplinary matter involving my child. Initially, I appreciated the firm’s willingness to take on the case and their assurances of expertise in education-related legal issues. However, my overall experience was extremely disappointing for several reasons. First, the involvement of Dr. Meghan Murray, an educational consultant, significantly increased the costs of the case. While I was informed of her potential role in the initial fee agreement, her services ultimately doubled the effective hourly rate. At no point did I feel her contributions were necessary to achieve the goals I outlined, and her involvement was entirely at Attorney Biedrzycki’s discretion. Despite this, her fees constituted a substantial portion of the final bill with minimal demonstrated value added to the case. Second, throughout the engagement, Attorney Biedrzycki consistently portrayed the school district’s actions as malicious, which led to unnecessary work and inflated billable hours. In retrospect, this approach seemed less about advancing my child’s case and more about justifying additional charges. Finally, the unprofessionalism displayed in Attorney Biedrzycki’s last communication to me was shocking. After I expressed my concerns about the fees and services provided, his response was dismissive and accusatory, going so far as to suggest that I was attempting to extort a refund. This tone and approach were completely uncalled for and only added to my dissatisfaction with his services. Overall, I cannot recommend PA School Law Alliance or Attorney John A. Biedrzycki. My experience was marred by excessive fees, unnecessary services, and unprofessional conduct. For families seeking legal assistance in educational matters, I strongly urge you to proceed with caution and ensure all aspects of the engagement are transparent and justified.

French Baguettes

Mastering the French baguette is easier than you think. This recipe guides you through creating a classic long, thin loaf with a crispy crust and chewy interior, using just flour, water, yeast, and salt.
Prep Time
30 minutes mins
Cook Time
15 minutes mins
Rise Time
55 minutes mins
Total Time
1 hour hr 40 minutes mins
Course: BreadCuisine: FrenchKeyword: authentic french baguettes, french baguette recipe Servings: 3 loaves
Ingredients
10 grams salt 1 1/2 tsp
400 grams luke warm water 2 1/2 cups + 2 tbls
650 grams King Arthur bread flour 4 3/4 cups
20 grams fresh yeast or one packet active dry yeast plus 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
Yeast: Place an empty bowl from a stand mixer on a kitchen scale. Zero out the scale. Add 10 grams of salt. Zero out the scale. Add 650 grams of flour. Zero out the scale. Add 20 grams of fresh yeast, crumbled.
Pour: In a separate bowl weigh 400 grams of water. Then pour that into the salt, flour and yeast.
Mix: Using a dough hook, mix on medium speed for 5 minutes, or until a ball forms. Do not knead for more than five minutes or you will lose elasticity and flavor.
Rise: Once the ball is formed, place it on a lightly floured counter. Cover it with an upside down mixing bowl and let it rise for about 15 minutes.
Cut: After it rises, remove the bowl. Cut the dough into three sections weighing at least 350 grams each. French law states that no baguette can weigh less than 350 grams (but it can weigh more).
Cover: Knead each section into a ball. Cover with a damp tea towel and let sit for 10 minutes.
Fold: Turn a ball over so the seam is on top. Flatten it a bit with the palm of your hand. Fold one side toward the middle, and flatten the seam a bit.
Press: Rotate the dough 180 degrees. Bring the other end in toward the seam. Press seam on top. Should look like a coffee bean.
Press: Turn the dough 180 degrees and repeat these steps. Fold one side in. Press the center a bit. Turn 180 degrees. Fold the other side in. Press the center a bit.
Roll: Then, roll into cylinder (about 6 inches long).
Roll: Repeat the steps again. Flatten the cylinder with the palm of hand. Fold one side in. Press seam. Turn 180 degrees. Fold the other side in. Press on seam. Now, roll to the length of baguette, between 12- 18 inches. As you fold it and roll it, if you see bubbles in the dough; that is a good sign that your yeast has activated properly.
Preheat: Spray your baguette pan with Pam and place the baguettes onto the pan. If you don’t have a baguette pan, you can use a large cookie sheet. Cover with the moist tea towel and leave at room temperature to rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Score: Once risen, use a razor blade or Exacto knife to score the top of the baguette before baking.
Bake: Place a 13 x 9 pan filled halfway with water on the lower rack. Place the bagette pan on an upper rack. Bake until golden. About 15 minutes.
Notes
You can use this recipe to make rolls, mini baguettes or even a regular loaf.

John and his team were very helpful when I reached out for legal help. They were incredibly professional and always quick to respond to any questions I had (a lot!). Very understanding and knowledgeable team, which helped navigate my legal matters smoothly, decrease my stress, and achieve a positive outcome! Not mention the cutest office mascot, Penny. Very highly recommended!!

John is an amazing lawyer. During my consultation he explained everything thoroughly. He took my case for a traffic moving violation on short notice (days notice to appeal) and was very communicative throughout the whole process. He made the outcome of my case a favorable to me. Would highly recommend!

I highly recommend John and his team for any legal service or advice. John was able to quickly resolve a traffic infraction where it was evident he holds a strong rapport with the local magistrate. His price was extremely reasonable and he provided excellent communication and service from the first call until the issue was fully resolved.

He got my brother in law out of landlord trouble last year, which was great! Super guy, great writer. Look up his columns, they're HILARIOUS to read. He did a neat piece on drunk driving right after the justin timblerlake thing.

I hired john to close on a house for me. The closing process took longer than expected and required me to continuously call back to find out the status of closing when deadlines were missed repeatedly by John and his team. At closing i was very scared of possible liens on the home. I requested lien insurance which John provides. I was advised against it and promised “we are very thorough we will make sure all debts are paid. You dont need the insurance its just extra cost and more work for me” Well guess what. Not only did I get a letter for a lien on the house that went unresolved. Ive also received a bill from PWSA and Pennsylvania Water Authority for over $1100. Johns only answer to how he plans to rectify this is I can hire him to sue the water company or pay him hourly for the work to resolve the mess he left me in. I would never recommend using this company. I was mislead by what i thought was professional legal counsel. If you have any other options go with them.

TJ, we are sorry to hear that you elected to leave a negative review. Ethically, we cannot respond to the specific details other than to say we don't have control over that aspect of matter and did offer solutions.

John did a quick and thorough review of a home sales agreement for my family. He was quick to respond and had several great catches that protected our interests in the buying process. I was very impressed with his kindness and expertise and recommend him wholeheartedly. Thank you John!

I highly recommend John. His victory with my case set a positive precedent for all motorists in Pennsylvania in my situation when battling with an insurance company. I was quite impressed with the outcome of my case and how he kept me informed every step of the way. Unlike the larger corporate firms in Pittsburgh where the lawyers are burnt-out and overworked, with John you will receive attentive and personal service.
