Having the same exact experience as Gordon Dooley. She has no sense of urgency and takes weeks, if not months, to respond. Reluctant to schedule meetings about concerns - one was requested in July, it is now February and she is still delaying setting it up. Her slowness resulted in many important deadlines being missed which is messing up the estate. Ask her about the topics she claims to specialize in on her website, and it is all "I don't know" and "I have to get back to you" and never does.

The process of applying and qualifying for Medicaid (Title-19) was quite challenging and way more complicated than we imagined for my parents. There were different options and approaches to managing my parents estate to qualify for Medicaid and Julia spent as much time as we needed to explain the options/approaches in meetings. She initially drew out the options on a whiteboard - this was our game plan. We had multiple conference calls and in-person meetings with Julia and her excellent assistant Dana through the entire process - which took many months. The amount of time and paperwork handled/managed by Julia and Dana was quite literally a mountain. We could not have navigated the path to Medicaid for my parents without the excellent guidance and support of Julia M Brown. Julia and Dana continue to help and promptly answer questions we might have even though we completed the process that we hired her for. No, it is not cheap to hire professional legal services such as what Julia Brown provides, but what her office provided was well worth it to us.

DO NOT go to julia brown! she legally takes a lot of your money and does almost nothing for you. when my family member went to her all she did was a power of attorney and filled out the paperwork for title 19. NEVER did she tell us we had to do so much to get title 19,she kept saying she would get my family member on it! again she did nothing!!! we gave her 5000 and got nothing for it! i found other people who said the same thing. when another member of my family needed a lawyer i found one who did power of attorney, changing of a will, DNR forms and started title 19 forms for 250 dollars! PLEASE look around for attorneys, again julia brown legally takes your money and does NOTHING for you!!!
