I received a call back from this firm today after reaching out about possibly hiring them for a case, and the experience was surprisingly unprofessional. Before even offering a proper greeting, the caller abruptly demanded, “Who referred you to my firm?” I explained that I actually had a scheduled call this morning and kindly asked if we could set a time to speak. She ignored that completely and repeated her question about the referral, then immediately mentioned they charge a consultation fee — all without asking what type of case I was seeking help with. The entire interaction felt brash, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. It gave me no confidence in their professionalism or client care. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this firm. *In response to reply I received from this law office - kindly read my review. I said, “ I had a call scheduled that morning and asked if we could schedule a time to speak.” Meaning, I had an unrelated work meeting scheduled and asked if we could set a time as you called, unscheduled. You in fact, responded right away with continuing to ask me questions. Your response to my review further drives my initial review of brash and unprofessional. The nature in which you communicated was in fact, dismissive and brash especially when dealing with such a sensitive in nature case. I was genuinely taken aback by your tone and it was very discouraging. I also do wish you the best but as I stated, it was not a positive first impression to your firm.
First, it is unfortunate that you took our office policy as somehow rude or unprofessional. Secondly, I was aware of the nature of your case, as you had expressed that to my assistant when you initially called. Third, you and I did not have an appointment set up that morning to discuss your matter as you indicated in your review. I simply returned your call, you indicated that it was not a good time to speak and asked if you could set up a consult to discuss your case. I immediately indicated, that we certainly could do so. As is our office policy, we always ask clients who referred them to our office, for a variety of reasons. You provided your referral source, indicated that you wanted to set up a time for the consult, at which time, I advised you of the consultation fee. Immediately upon me advising you of the consult fee, you became irate and hung up the phone. I never got in another word after indicating the fee amount. At no time during the call was I rude, brash or dismissive to you. It is apparent that you took offense to me indicating that there was a consult fee for your type of case, as you were all for having a consult with my office until the moment you were advised of the fee. Nevertheless, we wish you all the best!
