Mr. Beard is a wonderful, kindhearted but serious lawyer who fought for me and guided me through some of my darkest days. I was very grateful I read a blog post of his on custody in 2015 and engaged his services. He was honest, flexible, stern but dogged in his approach and I highly recommend him to anyone going through custody and divorce. Thanks, Kevin, for all you did!

Positive thing I can say is this law office always answer and they always there to listen to my concerns . Any time I’ve reach out to jack he always return my call or email within 24 hours . They also give you realistic expectations and honest advice . I would give it a yes in my book .

Can't say many good things about Kevin unfortunately. He sold me in the beginning but let me down every step after. Best of luck to you if you choose this route.

2023 Edit: The best part about this law firm is that they tell their clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. You can not find better representation than this. Highly recommend years later. 2019 Review: I never thought that the Judge would shed more tears than my dearly estranged the day I got divorced, but Her Honor did. I contracted the Law Office of Kevin L. Beard around Spring 2018 to represent me in a divorce action which included a very lengthy and extremely contentious custody battle over young children. Primarily, Mr. Beard's associate, Mr. Jack Gates, handled my case. I can not speak highly enough of the representation that I received from Mr. Gates. This statement should not diminish the excellent resource that Mr. Beard proved to be throughout my divorce, I just did not work directly with Mr. Beard extensively. That said, Mr. Gates' representation and professionalism reached such a level that it actually brought a Baltimore County Judge to tears at the conclusion of my trial as she stated that it is rare in Family Law to find an attorney who represents his clients with the level of determination and professionalism with which Mr. Gates represented me. That statement came from a seasoned Judge who openly stated she was coming to an end of her career in Family Law. Please have peace of mind leading up to your divorce, in the final analysis, I was blown away by their work and you will be too; our Judge certainly was!
