I had a very disappointing experience with Attorney Kimberly Sheek. After deciding not to pursue bankruptcy and requesting my case be closed, the professionalism I initially experienced changed significantly. I paid a $500 deposit with the understanding—clearly stated by Attorney Sheek—that no work would be performed until the full retainer was received. When I later informed the firm that I would not be moving forward and asked about a refund, I was told none would be returned. I was then presented with time entries to justify keeping the funds, including charges for template letters, reviewing documents I never sent, and emails I never received. Over more than six months, I was never provided with an email contact for the firm until the final day. When I spoke directly with Attorney Sheek about closing my case, her demeanor was unexpectedly aggressive and unprofessional, which was a stark contrast to our initial consultation. I remained courteous throughout the call, despite being interrupted and spoken to harshly. I feel compelled to share this experience as a reminder that professionalism and respect matter—especially when clients’ circumstances change. Perhaps, had I completed the bankruptcy this review would’ve been different. I am however grateful I did not invest additional funds and hope future clients are treated with greater consideration. I would like to note, I have experience as a legal assistant and have interacted with many lawyers as a result. Attorney Sheek is by far the rudest most unprofessional experience I’ve had in this field. I will say, my interactions with both Angela & Monica were always pleasant. I would gladly support the $500 be given to them as a holiday gift.

Kimberly was the only Attorney I talked to who was willing to be honest, despite the truth costing her a potential client. Altruism is in high supply at this practice. Thank you.

Kim and her staff are just remarkably honest, sincere and provided excellent guidance throughout the entire legal process. The staff is always friendly and quick to respond to questions or inquiries. I am very grateful for their efforts and highly recommend them as ‘the best of the best’.

A huge thank you to Kim and her team. I have zero experience with legal things and the thought of doing this by myself was daunting to say the least. I chose Kim based off of reviews and I am glad I did. Kim and her team are incredible. The tools were easy to use, and I had issues with uploading some documents and Katarina was able to process them for me. They were patient and thorough and made sure I had everything I needed. Kim was more than happy to meet me in person even though she does offer virtual services. I felt more comfortable in person and they accommodated me. The pricing is also good. She's not the cheapest nor the most expensive from what I saw, but I'm glad I chose her. I definitely felt like she was worth every single penny. The entire process was a breeze. I have friends and family who are contemplating their financial future, and I trust them with her.
