One of the worst experiences ever. I was working with both Leanne and Kael. Apparently Leanne was selling her practice to Kael and I didn’t know that I thought they worked together but talking between 2 people about one case was ridiculous. Kael did absolutely nothing for me and charged me 5500$ and didn’t do anything for me. At the time of my hearing I was sitting right behind him and he didn’t know I was there. He started reading off my sentence and was totally the wrong sentencing, the prosecutor had to correct him at which time he laughed it off. Complete neglegence. Unprofessional. I’d be in the same boat I’m in if I never even hired them. What a waste of money. Do not use Kael. Horrible.

I consulted every lawyer in town for my case, not only was Kael the most confident and knowledgeable, but his pricing was fair and competitive. I was facing a possesion charge as well as an oui and open container charge. Kael was able to get all my charges dismissed before my job ever found out.

Leanne and her office were incredibly helpful from beginning to end. They helped me get through all the paperwork and in the end negotiated to the point where my DUI was 100% dismissed can’t oversell how helpful they all were

Best law firm is Anchorage. Leigh Ann and her team are top shelf lawyers. They were able to get one of my husbands DUI's dropped, his gun charge dropped and a handful of other court violations dropped. They also care about people, they got him into a treatment facility and gave him his life back! Great people, 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend!!

Leigh Ann is extremely unprofessional and rude. She talked over me and belittled me almost every phone call. Her and her team were no help and a huge waste of money. I believe the 5 star reviews are fake. Please don’t fall into the trap of this operation taking money from people going through a hard vulnerable time.

I was on vacation when I ran in to trouble. Googled and her office was the only one that answered. I’ve ran in to trouble other times and spent thousands leading me to believe all lawyers are liars until I met Leigh Ann. She’s professional, lets you know what to expect and lets you know what she will focus on doing for your best possible outcome. No promises, but you feel reassured she will do her best for you..By the way her fees are incredibly reasonable and she works with you to save you money. Her team of paralegals keeps you up to date on your case and anything pending.Miraculously thanks to her , my case was dismissed otherwise I’d be serving time in Alaska very far from home. Even after my case was closed , she and her team reached out to find out if I needed help with any other paperwork in my home town. I highly recommend her. If you want the best outcome choose Leigh Ann as your representative.

Leigh Ann is easily the worst person and definitely the worst lawyer I have ever met. My father hired her for my second DUI in February of 2020 and it has been a nightmare to work with her since then. She acts as if doing anything her job requires is a huge hassle and makes sure you know "how much effort she is putting in", without ever actually showing proof of any of it. Initially, I did not want to go to Seattle for "treatment" because I knew I didn't need it. Liz, her paralegal/secretary then instructed me to just go to a different program and not tell Leigh Ann about it. I did that and graduated. Received no recognitiion from Leigh Ann or the court, nor did they ever ask for any proof of it. So it was pointless. I was also on house arrest for almost all of 2020, with Leigh Ann not trying to get me off of it once, no matter how many times I asked, and ended up not receiving credit for any of it because she refused to argue my case. I ended up getting in trouble again in February of this year unfortunately, due to my mental health issues, which Leigh Ann and the entire court were more than aware of, and all I got in return was Leigh Ann compeltely quitting as my lawyer and taking all of my money with her, not ever showing me any proof of what she had actually done as my lawyer in the LAST YEAR. She did not quit due to me having issues; she quit because I asked for evidence that she had argued my case. I have several voice recordings of her screaming at me and calling me names, as well as many emails including her lack of professionalism and downright rudeness. This is not how you treat people, much less clients who are paying you. I have already started my complaint to the bar. All of this being said, based on her reviews, you can definitely tell she picks favorite clients who she actually wants to help and those that she doesn't. Which is why she receives either 5 or 1 star. So hey, if you want to waste $10,000 in hopes that you will be one she'll actually like and do her job for, go for it. But I wouldn't risk it. I now have a public defender who is doing 10 times more than she ever did and actually keeping me updated on what is going on with my case. Who would have thought that someone provided from the state would be more helpful than an attorney? It's because they actually have something to prove; she doesn't. Leigh Ann and her office don't care about you as a person or a client. Look somewhere else. UPDATE: I now have a public defender who actually communicates with me and is helping me stay out of jail. Leigh Ann never did this. She was going to let me rot in jail for months. Also, he is getting me credit for being on house arrest March-August of last year when Leigh Ann refused to even try. In regards to her comments, well, you can see how she always has an excuse for people who are unhappy with her service. Update in 2024: I have now graduated from a wellness court program and have been sober for several years. I still feel the same way about Leigh Ann Bauer. She chooses to represent some people well and others her team chooses to throw away. I’m still upset that my father paid her $10,000 to verbally abuse and belittle me for having alcohol issues and trying to seek help and representation.

June 28, 2024 I called their "office" which sounded more like a call center answering service yesterday and today. I told the person who answered that I wanted to make an appointment to have a Will and Trust made up. I was told both times that message would be forwarded and that somebody would call me. I never heard a word. I guess if you need a Will or Trust or both to be done, this place doesn't consider it big enough money to mess with. I will now go somewhere else. Thanks Leigh Ann

Leigh Ann works really hard to make the best of what can be a really bad situation, and you can tell cares very deeply for all her clients.

Leigh Ann help me keep my license for a few months, house arrest, even tho that depend on your background🙄,got my probation knock down a year and got my sentence knock down by a day. But to be honest when it comes down to it, she an average lawyer. Look into a public defender before spending thousands of dollars on her, you probably get the same results regarding a DUI if the evidence is heavy on you. If you are trying to get your conviction knock down to reckless driving, try another lawyer. Terminology she use on me "March your little butt to jail" " if there better lawyers then hire them" extremely rude and always interrupted me when I talk. Be careful guys, these lawyers get paid regardless if your convicted or not.......so some lawyers might not care.
