You will need an attorney to protect you from this attorney. Lilian filed a retaliatory lawsuit against me merely for questioning her inflated $29,233 bill for just two months of minimal work. Shockingly, charging me $400 per hour, even for work done by her assistant. The information detailed in this review can be verified through court records and documentation. Lilian was my fourth attorney, failed to provide discovery requests on time. Lilian kept on harassing me for a whole months and misrepresented the judge's order forcing me to reply with no objections, which made opposing party improperly use the information against me. She repeatedly prioritized her own financial interests before my case. She is incredibly abrasive and unethical, she was fighting me rather than fighting for me. Against my objections, she went ahead and told the judge that we will settle, coerced me into an unwanted settlement solely to find a way to get paid her inflated fees, then charged me for the long waited hours in court.When I refused, to sign the settlement, she remained silent at the hearing, failing to counter false claims about my income despite having evidence. The resulting court order was financially disastrous for me. Yet Lilian, rather than showing any regret for her lack of advocacy contributing to this outcome, saw an opportunity to victimize me further. She filed a lawsuit against me. Three days before the hearing, she ignored my several follow up emails urging her to file the response I emailed her to opposing party’s declaration, I was uncertain whether she would even appear at the hearing, that I reached out to my previous attorney to represent me at the hearing. The positive reviews appear to be deceiving. I wouldn't wish Lilian's unethical, abrasive bullying on anyone. I would strongly caution against hiring her.
