Found Margarita Wood through Marble services for DVRO case. She is Tough on you, especially while your emotions are running high under the circumstances. She is Precise in language and tonality, short tempered at times, which doesnt make it easier on you as the client....BUT, all paperwork was submitted promptly throughout the process. I was Impressed with The Way She formulated DVRO Response on my behalf based on evidence I provided. In Court, SHE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU, and Has NO PROBLEM going head-to-head with the Oposing Counsil. She DOES NOT back down during court procedures, or negotiations, and is Not intimidated easily. She can see through BS and aligations against you. She is TOUGH on You throughout the process, but Will Defend You Aggressively in Court; which IS the Ultimate Goal.

Terrible lawyer. She filed incorrect documents charged me so much and now I have to amend my divorce and refile the correct forms. She didn't use the correct proof of service form. I could have done a better job myself. Do not recommend save your money go somewhere else

In 2024, we were facing many problems related to my pregnancy, as I had just arrived in California. We contacted Margarita on the recommendation of a friend and asked if she could help me with my legal situation regarding adjustment of status and petition. She said yes, but she didn't. She delayed my entire process because of an oversight regarding a payment. She didn't fill out all the forms or explain all the payments and minimum requirements for the paperwork to be accepted. We didn't gather all the necessary documents; they were returned to us, and we lost valuable time securing my medical care through my husband's insurance. On top of that, she didn't give us a realistic estimate of how much the process would cost. Margarita is not an immigration attorney. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to investigate her further. I trusted her when she accepted my case, assuring me that she could handle it and knew what she was doing. In the end, I completed all my paperwork and submitted all my documents myself, following the USCIS guidelines step by step. We made it! So now I realize she didn't know what she was doing and for some reason gave me terrible advice. I don't recommend her.
