Now that I had the chance to see how he really works, I feel like all the other reviews are fake! An attorney who doesn’t check the court schedule and allows court dates to pass, who doesn’t go to the court to pick up new paperwork or check for new filings, ignores the clients wishes and completely bullies and fear-mongers their client into custody agreements that are emotionally and psychologically negative for the child involved? That’s a lawyer that you don’t want. You also don’t want a lawyer who cozies up to the opposing lawyer for who-knows-what underhanded reason, and that even the judge clearly thinks is not representing the best interests of their client. Oh did I forget? A retainer that will be used with no receipt of where it went and no billing records. Phone caalls and requests for information ignored, evidence ignored and passed over… I just don’t see how these other reviews could possibly be real. Terrible experience that had to actually be terminated in the middle of a hearing for such bad representation. - addition - there’s no other reply you could have made other than to defend. But the truth stands for itself.

Mike is very good and knowledgeable about the family support he does a great job listening to your concerns and wants and he gives the best advise very trustworthy with decisions and not to mention his staff and him self are on top of things the office staff is super helpful and nice Very good attorney here it is highly recommended

Mr. Weimer helped us with our custody case wanting equaled shared time with the kids. This battle with my husbands ex has been an 8 year nightmare and all hope has been lost, as the system always seemed to only listen to one side. Until we hired Mr. Weimer. I would highly recommend Michael Weimer as your attorney. My 22 year old daughter and I live in Louisiana but we are from California. My daughter was visiting family in the Oakdale area in October. Out of youthful indiscretion, she did donuts in an empty parking lot. A police officer saw her and ticketed her. This is a misdemeanor offense and considered reckless driving. She appeared in front of a judge in January via a Zoom meeting. The judge referred her case to the public defender's office and set another court date for days later. The public defender's office told us that we did not need to appear in court and someone would contact her. No one contacted us before her scheduled court date and time. This resulted in a bench warrant being issued for her arrest. I contacted Michael Weimer's office. They immediately contacted me back. Michael assured me that under a certain penal code, that he could represent my daughter. At the next court date, he got the bench warrant rescinded and filed for discovery (information that the DA's office had). Another court date was set and when it came, the case was deferred and another court date set. Michael suggested that my daughter take a California Safe Driving Course and a Life Skills Course before her next court date. She did and Michael brought her completed course certificates with him to the next court date. The DA dismissed her case to our utter relief and delight. This was a hard lesson for my young adult daughter but Michael walked us through it. He was incredibly communicative in a very timely manner. He was kind and compassionate. He was knowledgeable and had a good legal strategy that worked in our case. I highly recommend Michael Weimer as an attorney.

For 4 years I felt so hopeless with another lawyer "helping me" with my divorce. Every time we went to court, I kept loosing one more battle. When I thought all was lost, I got a recommendation from a paralegal in the same office I had been hiring for 4 years. They told me that Michael Weimer was the only attorney that my current attorney hated to go to court against. Say no more, I went to go meet with Michael Weimer and noticed a huge difference and got all my hope back. Needless to say, I hired him on the spot and fired my previous attorney.
