Ray scheetz was court appointed lawyer he screwed my deposition up wouldn't tell me the names of my victim 3 friends to call to testify, he couldn't get me a good plea deal, he told me he had no defense for my extortion charges, he was bad, I had to fire him he wouldn't help me then I got ambushed by the linn county public defenders and got 45 year sentence .

I recently contacted Mr. Scheetz's office regarding my case. After numerous attempts, I finally spoke with him, and he stated that he does not take on cases involving individuals who need to travel to Mexico. I found this comment unprofessional and disrespectful, as I had not disclosed my country of origin. As a lawyer, I expect a higher level of professionalism and respect for diverse backgrounds.
