I’m incredibly grateful for the work Rita Allee did on my custody case. She helped me retain my parental rights and ultimately secured a fair, 50/50 shared custody outcome for my sons. Her guidance saved me many thousands of dollars, but even more importantly, she helped me keep a clear head during one of the most emotionally devastating periods of my life. Throughout the process, Rita stayed steady, strategic, and honest. She protected me from making decisions under pressure—especially while my ex was trying to manipulate me into giving up rights that mattered deeply. Her calm counsel and deep knowledge of family law made all the difference. Because of Rita, my sons get equal time with both parents, and I get to remain a fully active father in their lives. I couldn’t be more thankful for her work and would highly recommend her to anyone facing a difficult custody or family law situation.

Just rancid

She is a terrible terrible person. Because of her my kids no longer have a father. She should be band from practicing, she will make your children suffer a traumatic AWFUL childhood. She is as scummy as they come. Save your money and the life of others! DON'T USE HER! THIS SCUMBAG HAS RUINED AN ENTIRE FAMILY AND HAS NO REMORSE!

I'm a disabled Gulfwar veteran. One of their staff members accused me of being on Iraq side of the war plus a number of other things. To me having a staff member that is that disrespectful to someone that volunteered to put themselves in harms way to protect everyone in the USA is not a very good thing. Especially when you live and work in a military town. Looking at all of the other reviews this office doesn't really care. My suggestion to all of the military community. Is don't waste your time and money with this office.

I was shocked to see all these negative reviews. I too had ALL these experiences with Rita. She is a thief, she takes your money, your time, and gets you NOWHERE! Every one of these negative posts are true and Un-exaggerated. She told me that young, skinny, pretty girls like myself think they shouldn’t have to pay for anything! She said, I wanted my kids poor. She took what she could get from me and dropped me as a client for not wanting to fight for land property. I called the board and they said she has the right to drop me as a client. RIDICULOUS! Please please please save yourself the time, energy, and money and go with someone else.

Worst mistake of my life I could've probably got further if I represented myself. Terri didn't do anything for me but basically tell me that the judge most likely wouldn't let me take my daughter with me out of state due to my husband being active duty and both side of mine and my ex families live here in fairbanks. Even tho he is not stable and a druggy she basically said that he'd end up with her. Also they charge 3,000 up front and don't do anything at all they make u do everything so u pay them to sit around and look stupid. (My honest opinion) I do not recommend hiring them at all. I'm sure your would get further in your case if u represented yourself

Billed $240 for a 24 minute “consultation” she didn’t even consult and didn’t give me ANY legal advice! What a waste of time AND money. Unbelievable!!!

Zero stars this firm should be sued for malpractice

Horrendous service. Teri Coleman was my attorney through my child custody case and she did NOTHING. Probably even less than I could’ve have done for myself. I had so much evidence against him and still my infant was trusted in his care.

Did nothing for me but show up in court as I am out of state. After I fired her graciously she continued to bill me. I will be filing a complaint with the bar. Mysteriously my bill went from having $100 left when I let her go to -$40 in a month and now I get a bill -$280.

My mother spent all her savings helping my brother pay lawyer bills to Rita Allees firm to locate his children and ex wife. After he fired her team, he made more progress in six months then they did in two years. My advice, do it yourself..spend that money on your babies as they will need it more than her establishment.

We went in to get advice and Rita did not sit and listen to us, but instead simply spent all but perhaps 5 minutes slowly rambling on about facts about our case that we already knew and other generic information = wasted time and money. When we interjected to get the issues we were concerned about on the table, she would cut us off and insist we hear her out. When we asked specific questions about hypothetical outcomes and how we should proceed, she said, "I didn't go to the school of magic wands". Providing practical what-if's and solutions to those would have been GREATLY appreciated. Instead, we paid $240 for an hour (wait, only 48 minutes, 5 of which actually pertained to our concerns) of her rambling on instead of listening to and advising her paying clients on what they were truly concerned about. There should be a high level of integrity of use of one's time when your services warrant $4/minute. We got better information from websites for free by far. We paid her to give us valuable advice that we couldn't find elsewhere. This was not the case. The front desk office manager was not the friendliest and was very defensive as well. We would not recommend Rita. Please let our costly mistake keep you from making a similar one.
