Law Office of Robert G. Dolton (The Fishing Lawyer)

Run from theses CLOWNS!!! This Firm is a joke and I think they work for insurance companies. The trial assistant for some reason that was assigned to my case( why not Mr. Dolton who I initially went to retain) is mediocre at best. Did more harm than good with my case with his constant down playing of accident and Claim. All that I received was excuse after excuse for bad client service. Then when I caught assistant in a lie, they dropped my case 5 months before expiration citing I wouldn't be happy with results. They NEVER called to check up on me or give me advise, basically IGNORING me until it almost was too late for any compensation for injuries. If I could give -5 I would. I should have known better when he doesn't care about any rating from attorney finders. They also sent Me to a chiropractor in parkrose who should have been in the accident because He truly got All the money. And if You read any of his recent reviews they All talk about how it wasn't this way with them like they are "Staged" comments, talking about using His services More than once, hahaha are You kidding me BOB?

So incredibly grateful for the time and effort everyone here put into my case. They supported me through the most traumatic moment of my life (getting physically hit by a car), in a very professional and caring manner. I am very satisfied with how they handled my case. Definitely recommend.

I have used him 3 times now and have never had a issue. He’s straight forward and to the point. The insurance companies want to screw you don’t let that happen. Rob is the best in the business and after reading the other reviews I can say I have never had any of those experiences. Staff are friendly, they call me with updates, they are fast and caring, Rob is available for me to talk to. Keep up the good work!

Robert G dolton and staff are simply put amazing. They have gone over the top for me both times I have had to use there service. They treated me like family from day one. They helped me find doctors and specialists to help treat my injuries. They were constantly keeping me in the loop on the progress of both of my cases. Often calling to check in on me and see how I was doing. They are unlike any personal injury lawyer I've used in the passed. So when it comes down to it, they're the one I call and I refer then to everyone including my family an loved ones.

I couldn't be happier with his candidness, knowledge, and general professional and open demeanor. I have no doubt that this firm can handle your case with 30 years experience. Mr. Dolton thoroughly discussed my case, with all options to moving forward, and his best recommendations for my well- being. After Mr. Dolton worked on my case, I received a bigger settlement than I expected. And also big thanks to Theresa, the office manager for being available whenever I needed. She answered all my questions clearly with patience. She took care of my property damage and made sure I received my wage loss payments. This is a 5 STAR firm!

In my opinion, this place has some sort of agreement with the insurance companies to keep cases out of court. Had 2 car accidents and getting updates on my cases were like pulling teeth. They would ignore my emails and whenever I would call and ask to speak to my attorney, I was told he was busy and to just be patient. Ended up waiting and waiting just to be told sorry, they didn't believe I had a good case and that either I needed to settle for far less or they would drop my case. They did the exact same thing with my second accident, just got a call saying I didn't have a case again even though as a result of the accidents I have been declared disabled. Waiting for a call back from Dalton, but starting to think they took advantage of me and my brain injury. Have plenty of proof if anyone would care to see. Highly suggest going else where, will definitely save you some stress

Awesome lawyer best in the west!!

I called "The Fishing Lawyer" to discuss representation in a case against the disability insurance company, The Standard. The telephone was answered by a woman who did not even let me finish saying my name. Before I could finish saying "Hello my name is Adam..." she asked if I was in a car accident. I told her "no, but..." she again cut me off and stated "That's pretty much what we do, but I can refer you out." She had me screened, measured, rejected and disposed of before I could say seven words. On their home page, they say: "Call for a FREE, no obligation consultation with Robert G. Dolton, the fishing lawyer." Perhaps they should say: "Don't waste your time with this ambulance chaser, because you don't matter."

I have known Rob for many years as a client. His firm has always given me 24 karat gold service. He is professional, courteous and extremely kind. He makes you feel as if you are member of his family. Plus you gotta love a man who LOVES fishing. (Smile) if you are looking for the best personal injury lawyer in the Portland Metro area, give him a call. You will be glad you did. Love love love you people.

You wrote a review for Dolton Robert G Atty A moment ago 1.0 star rating 11/8/2018 I hired this law office after a car accident. I had used them years ago and was happy. This time was not the case. It took 3 months from the time I was released from physician care to even speak with the attorney, and that only happened because I was a pest. It took almost 5 months to get a settlement after treatment completion that I feel could have been better. I just simply wanted it over with. The support staff seemed disorganized and incompetent. Even when it came to getting the check, they never called me. They certainly did not earn their 1/3 of the settlement. I had to call after 3 weeks and ask about it. I'll go elsewhere if I ever need anyone again.

Ya gotta love Rob... Straight forward, honest, trustworthy... If he can't help you he will send you to someone who can.

Did a great job so far got me extra 7,000$ on my accident claim, and they are still working on it
