October of last year I found myself in a very tight, dark, lonely, deteriorating and depressing spot facing minimum five years in prison. I was desperate and in need of a criminal attorney with better than great litigation skills, with no input or resources on where to find someone who is compassionate, competent, trustworthy, knowledgeable. So I googled, came across a lot but none called me back, did a lot of filling out forms for even an email or call back with no immediate communication. Tara called me at almost 1am that morning from the airport on her way to Hawaii, I mean no gray lines no babying explained everything crystal clear, drawn out plan with when and how to go about this very scary situation I put myself and family in. We hired Tara Whalen to help with a serious felony trial but she was a complete disaster! Not only was she inept and ineffective, she antagonized both the judge and the jury. Then when the judge expressed frustration with her limited skill set and unprofessional demeanor, Tara quit! She literally stood up in the middle of trial, made ridiculous excuses and abandoned my friend in his hour of need! She refused to return any of the legal fee despite doing less than 25% of the trial and leaving my friend in a worse position than if we had never requested her services. Then ... Tara insisted she was quitting to help us?! Tara Whalen is ineffective, incompetent and delusional!

We are beyond grateful! My husband had a bench warrant from fifteen years ago for a shoplifting charge. He was very young and got mixed up with the wrong crowd.
