Terrible lawyer. He doesn't defend his clients at all. He doesn't do a good job; he just collects the money and then does nothing else. He doesn't investigate. In other words, he's a bad lawyer. Don't let this man steal your money. He doesn't know how to do his job properly. I'm giving him one star. If it were up to me, I'd give him less, but I'll keep reviewing so you don't fall into his trap. Terrible lawyer. He doesn't defend those who hire him at all. Derek represented me in collier county ( naples) last Wednesday. He got the case dismissed!! He’s excellent. He calm and diligent. On cross exam he swiftly exposes a liar. Don’t ever go to court without a lawyer. Call him he’s easy to talk to and a gentlemen.

If ever I need to hire a lawyer Mr Derek Tyler is my guy. I have spoken to him three times on the phone. He was direct, honest and offered advice that is superlative and sound. He is considerate and care about client’s need rather than enriching himself. His demeanor is calm and collected and in every way a gentleman. Never hurry me in any way and was patient asking pertinent questions while responding with relevant answers. I have never had a lawyer say to me that I don’t need to retain him because it was no claim. It was a case where an 18 year old boy crashed a bicycle into the automobile that my wife was driving. Mr. Tyler called it a fraud claim and stated that my wife did nothing wrong and did not receive a citation. His analysis was correct and logical. He is honest and forthright not to have me hire him. Basically he offered free advice and further advised me not to pursue the boy because he is an adult, no insurance and no money to pay for the damage to my car.
