My husband hired attorney Frank to represent us against the town of Posen because they wanted to take away a property my husband and I owned there. We presented him with the documents, and he told us we had a very strong case and that he wasn't going to let them steal the property we paid $25,000 for. The town only wanted to pay us $5,000 to keep it. First, the attorney asked for $250 to review the case, then $500 to represent us. He told us the case was practically won, that they were going to pay us the cost of the house and the expenses we had incurred, and that they were going to refund the fees we paid. In the end, he told us there was nothing to be done, that the best thing would be for us to give the property to the town, and he charged us another $500 for the paperwork so Posen could take possession. Now we're still receiving tickets from the town, and he's not answering his phone anymore.
