As retired veteran, I would encourage anyone who supports us to shop elsewhere for a lawyer. I am very surprised at the large number of 5 star reviews. There are few other 1 start reviews claiming he's unreliable. Take heed to those! He is very good at establishing rapport but not much else. A few other folks and I got together and gathered funds to pay him on a $110K plus construction fraud case with nearly a dozen potential defendants. He just went after the low hanging fruit - the guys in the fraud who have no money or who are in jail becaue the guys with the money would fight. The sad thing is as for a guy who "claims to fight hard against fraud" and claims to be certified fraud examiner, has no problem leaving you in the dust. This is far worse than what the actual fraudsters did. Truth is that he does a few things and disappears. No follow through on just about anything. (80+ ignored emails, texts, and calls and counting) He's got no grit. Is that some who you'd want to represent you in the court room? Signed an unhappy vet.

Jason Smith was awesome in settling a medical dispute that had been ongoing for 2 years, regarding a dental office that owed me over $1000 in a refund for work that was never completed. My car was hit by folklift on a road adjacent to a construction site. The contractor try to negotiate down the cost associated with the repair despite it was 100% their fault. I hired another attorney but the contractor did not agree to pay the full cost for the repair. I started search for bringing the case to the court.
