My experience with John D. Ritson was extremely unprofessional and costly. He neglected to share vital property survey details, causing my zoning board application to fail due to the proposed build being beyond my boundaries, resulting in major delays and unnecessary expenses.

Attorney John Ritson represented me when I first bought my house in August of 1999 in Elmwood, ct. He was good at explaining all aspects of the transaction and concluded a seamless closing for me. A few years later, upon changing life circumstances, he helped me refinance my mortgage and settle my financial woes. Upon finishing my mortgage, 22 years later, he still picked up the phone and told me what my lending bank and my town have to do to conclude my mortgage and remove the lein off my home. Again, in the summer of 2024, I contacted Attorney John Ritson about a possible scam I might have been exposed to, and again he responded right away. He responded yet again, two days later, upon seeing another phone message, to make sure that he responded indeed. All gratis and I'm grateful.

I established a professional relationship with the attorney about 20 years ago. Throughout various mishaps and difficulties in my life, my relationship with John developed into a lifetime friendship. There is no more flawless legal representation and personal counselor then there is in this attorney carry his number in your wallet even if you're not sure you need him call he's welcome to talk to you about your situation. I would absolutely never ever recommend this man to anyone..He might have experience but he is an absolute callous,arrogant,disrespectful attorney I have ever had..He treated my case as if it were "peanuts" to him and even making me feel like a nuisance if I called once a month to see how things were going..He did not fight at all for me,case went on for well over a year with no leeway..Because of his procrastination and lack of working on my case I got screwed..He let me go to "their" Insurance Doctors instead of helping me find an independent one,the list goes on and on..I got screwed big time because of him..He has no respect,empathy towards his clients,manners,etc...I would not recommend nor trust this man to help me in a serious offense or injury...
