They apparently take in collection cases and harass you to pay so further action is not taken. As soon as I got on the phone with the lady, she immediately got aggressive and argued with me. If that’s how they get people to pay collections, they have got another thing coming. You would think they would be cordial so that an agreement could be made. Not one person is going to go “oh they are being NASTY let me do what they say”. Yeah no. Isn’t there better things to do with their time than call yelling at people for a small collection fee?

I do not recommend this lawyer. We paid most of the fee upfront and completed the remaining balance, but unfortunately, he failed to keep us updated on the case. While we understand that appeals often involve waiting for a response, it felt like he didn’t put in much effort. Despite paying a significant amount, we received no updates or communication about the status of the case. We reached out multiple times via email and phone, but he rarely responded, which was extremely disappointing.The person assisting Kathleen was Nick Curran. While I don’t like leaving negative reviews, I feel to share our experience. It seemed like they took the money without genuinely fighting for the case. Even though the appeal was ultimately denied, I didn’t feel that any real effort or dedication was put into it.

This law firm took my families money and gave us false hope. My family has been fighting for my fathers innocence for nearly 20 years. This firm made us believe that they were going to work with us and had no issue taking the large amount of money we gave just to review the case. After months and now years of trying to contact this firm we have yet to hear back from anyone. This was very heartbreaking and disappointing coming from such a highly regarded attorney. At this point my family would just like their money back.
