I have known Kevan for a while now and have used his services in multiple ways. My wife and I decided to move to Costa Rica in 2016. Although we have on children, we do have a number of assets that we wanted to be properly dispersed should the occasion arise. Kevan was suggested by another attorney whose area of expertise is in securities. Kevan handled our last will & testament, durable power of attorney, healthcare power of attorney, living will, HIPPAA authorization. He also verified that we had similar documents produced in Costa Rica as the documents created in the United States are not seen as enforceable in Costa Rica. Each of us have a binder with these documents. He told me that when circumstances change that we should call and see if any of these documents need to be modified, no charge. His office always responds quickly to any request for information.

We recently found ourselves assigned with the task of creating wills, special needs trust, health directives, etc for family members. The more questions we had dealing with unique situations, the easier it became to realize why Mr. Benkowitz is such an excellent attorney. He has demonstrated a thorough knowledge and expertise of the law while taking the time to explain it in layman's terms ... always putting our minds at ease and going above and beyond to help us.
