I would advise using Donald Latzer as a family law attorney. We have used his services for the past 5 years. He was recommended to us by another attorney who we wanted to use, but weren't able to. He has been compassionate, reasonably priced and through. He has also been very quick to respond to my emails and phone calls when necessary.

Extremely unprofessional! Made the mistake of rushing to hire an attorney, found Mr. Latzer's 5 star rating and thought the reviews were reliable. The photo is sadly what I was given when my payment was taken...no actual copy of my Retainer Agreement EVER received even after MULTIPLE requests! All Mr. Latzer was able to provide was some initial consultation and completing two FL forms...had to badger him to complete the forms as he had no regard for the deadline when he knew I had already been served weeks prior! Had to stay on him or my paperwork would not have made it to the courts on time. I ended up hiring a new attorney (another $3,500) in which case my new attorney immediately provided her rates and a retainer agreement up front, leaving nothing to be unsure about with her new representation. Sadly Mr. Latzer could not even sign over the Substitution of Attorney form in a timely manner after the new law group made several requests. Please don't waste your money or risk the custody of your child!!!!

Don't waste your money with Mr latzer. Seek out professional help. He charges you $3,500 to steal your money. He then will ignore emails and phone calls that you make to him. He is unprofessional, lazy and not worth your time or your money. He is a horrible lawyer and very unprofessional.

Don Latzer has been an amazing attorney. He is professional and conducts himself appropriately, knows what to say and is very quick to respond in court. He has helped me tremendously through a very aggressive/ bitter ex spouse and continues to work his magic and make miracles happen!

Mr Latzer said he saw my ex husband go into a courtroom, so he went in to see what was going on. He said it was with CSS. I asked if I should have been there. He said no, it was between my ex and CSS. He told me that my child support ended up being set to $0 as of the ruling that day. He told me I had no recourse on that. 10 years later I went before a judge to say how disappointed I was with the legal system, that a highly educated man (my ex) wouldn't have to pay any support. Judge told me that I was supposed to be there that day, and Latzer was there representing me, but I didn't show up. Latzer lied to me, and he could have set a new court date that day and didn't. I got shafted big time by him and lost 10 years of child support for three children. I opened a case with the bar, but I have no written proof of what really happened that day. We became homeless and didn't need to be. Is that the kind of attorney you want??
