Rick is absolutely amazing! This gentleman is thorough and clear with expectations and instructions. If you give Rick a call, he will either always answer it or respond in a very timely manner, if if he’s unable to help with your request. He truly wants to help his clients. I asked him at the very beginning what his expectations were for our result and he was very honest. We won our case! Thank you so much, Rick!
My experience with Mr Vandever was excellent. He helped me win my case. He kept me well informed and I had all the information I needed to proceed with my trial. He walked me through the process so I was very confident on the day of the hearing. Thank you for your time spent on my case!
Richard was helpful in explaining the process and connected with me regularly. Thankfully we had a good outcome and the process went smoothly.
Richard walked me through the entire SSDI process and was always there when I needed him and helped me get approved. Fantastic lawyer, I'd highly recommend.
I am so thankful that I had Richard Vandever helping me through disability process. He was so down to earth with me. Rick made the process a lot more comfortable and much easier. I could not have got through this disability process alone. He was definitely a blessing to me and I would recommend him to anyone needing help!!
Richard handled my SSDI case and the Judge ruled in my favor at the day of the hearing. It was a long 3 years but Richard fought for me. If you want a straight shooter and fighter, he is your man!
Richard really helped me with my case. He call me several times and we went over what would happen in the court room. Inside the court room he represented me very professionally.
Mr. Vandever was the key element in helping my husband win his disability claim. He was knowledgeable, courteous and diligent while preparing for the hearing before the administrative law judge. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a disability attorney.
Rick handed a disability case involving a unique medical condition and did a great job!!
Rick is an excellent advocate. He is very thorough, and I certainly recommend him to anyone applying for disability.
Richard was in with me on a disability case of mine he was awesome helping me get this case done thank you so very much
Rick handled a social security disability claim where I had to prove I was disabled as of 7 years ago. He really went the extra mile (s) and the judge announced at the hearing he would approve the claim. Rick is great support and right to the point.
Thanks; it was a long slog but we finally prevailed.
Was very pleased with the outcome and the professional handling would reference him to people that I know that would need an attorney
Rick handled a Social Security Disability case for me. He did an amazing job and went the extra mile.
Rick did a great job handling my workers comp lawsuit case. I would definitely recommend Rick V. To handle anyone case. He is a really patient guy and I really do appreciate his great work
I was assigned Mr Vandever by an independent SSA disability company. After telling me how difficult my case would be a few weeks prior to the hearing, he then proceeded to not show up for the hearing. He stated he forgot what day it was. I was then left to ask for a continuance in order to secure alternative representation. Embarrassing to say the least. Not once did he give any advise or counsel regarding my case. Terrible example of an attorney whose job is to represent the disabled.
I have represented individuals seeking disability for 25+ years. It is a personally gratifying practice area: Many deserving people are summarily denied and then have to hang on for years before they get to a hearing. I have had numerous hearings where the judge told the claimant at the hearing their claim was being approved and they broke done in tears. They were, figuratively speaking, handing on by their fingernails. This person was not disabled and I told him this up front. He went ballistic when I was honest with him about his case.<br>His own insurance company denied his claim for continuing disability because he did not meet a standard that was much easier to qualify for then under SSDI. I have encountered this before where people go on a rant after being told this. And I plan to keep on doing so even though this will from time to time result in snarky comments.
Richard Vandever is a con man, I can't believe how poorly I was treated at my appointment. He said he wanted to take my disability case and for 20 minutes we spoke about how he would help me. Then he had me sign and initial a strange piece of paper insisting it was some medical release to help the case. I'm a Mayo Clinic patient and trusted him. As soon as I signed it he turned into the biggest jerk and told me he had no interest in helping me anymore and escorted me out of the office while saying something extremely rude that I don't feel comfortable sharing. Whatever I signed ruined my case (17 months fighting disability) and I had to find another job while fighting cancer because I couldn't afford to wait on disability for another year. I called and asked for a copy of the paper he had me sign and he insisted he had no idea what I was talking about then eventually stated he "threw it away" and refused to send a copy. I was swindled by this man, DO NOT use this person there is a reason he has locked doors and a doorbell at his office. He is not a good guy, at least with my horrible experience. God bless.
This lady became very agitated when, after reviewing the case with her, I told her I did not feel Her medical conditions were serious enough to qualify in a claim for disability. Note her comment about how she had to get a job and work after this. In other words, as i told her, she wasn't disabled. The "strange piece of paper" (like signing documents in an attorney's office is unusual) she refers to was a medical authorization I would have kept and used if I had represented her. The bottom line is she is upset because i would not take her case.
